He holds her gently in his arms on the couch.

"well..."She brushes her hair after the 'event'"Somebody missed me almost as much as I missed them."

"At least as much." He says quietly. "I don't like being without you, Callidora. I miss you."

"When will you know about Ireland, and are there other avenues to proceed on in the meantime?"

"I never like having my eggs all in one basket."

"There are some... but I don't know how best to approach them? " She admits sheepishly "I should know about Ireland soon. The other avenues include a member of the Monkey's paw who owes me a favor... I don't like the idea of using him. The last Avenue is a bit more dangerous. At least some of the balor have mundane lives...I dislike the idea of siccing taxes on them...but tis the season and with the right hints dropped the IRS might get nosey."

He laughs softly, squeezing around her waist. "I love the idea, but yes. A bit dangerous. Leave your Paw favor alone, for now, then."

"Oh, I mentioned.... the Balor from Tijuana?"

"One of them at least yes. Not the baroness...she's stuck on constant wander mode..." Smirk "Helping Pooka. Nice touch that. But yes."

"Yes, well. The story drew my interest, of course. The new Freeholder, who defeated the Baroness... I got a rough description and her name."

"Oh? Who?"

"Jessica King."

"Jessica.." She groans "Oh no...any relation to Frank 'if you go near him a Chiefitain's head may explode' King?"

"He had an estranged daughter, years ago. From the description? Yes." He chuckles again and runs his tongue along any handy exposed skin of her. "So perhaps it's best we don't involve the Baroness, even if she were able."

"The Dreaming laughs at us sometimes I think," CC kisses him "Okay. That avenue is shut. Good heads up."

"The textile-hold Balor, then?"

"Do you want to follow up on that?" OOC: And givn it's your story we can find loads of reasons not to if it would tangle matters too much 🙂

"Hmmm...." A frowny-sound, thinking. "I can, if you wish."

"I see that frown. And I know to trust your input...what do you think would be better? Want me to approach that one? Feminine wiles and all?"

"No, no, you're working on Ireland and a treasure. Allow me. I was just thinking."

'Do not die or get caught..." Firm

"I will not." He takes one of her free hands.

"What else do we need?"

She enjoys the feel of him, "A wheelbarrow and a holocaust cloak?"

He grins. "As you wish."

"Hm. We find out about Ireland, get the treasure, put it in the Aesin hold while letting the textile-hold Balor know where it is. Is that roughly the plan?"

"Essentially, one reason your gossip chain might be so useful."

He nods, his beard tickling against her skin. After some quiet. "You are tending to yourself, yes? Someone at the house to provide security? Seeing the Freehold once a week?"

"the last part is hardest, but yes...the bouncers have been getting double duty I'm afraid," CC frowns "I feel a bit guilty about it. They were hired to protect the club, not me."

"We can hire more. Without you there -is- no club, so... they are doing their job."

"I think you mean without -us-" A light poke

"I mean without you, because also without you there'd be very little me left. So."

"Stubborn boggan" She huffs a bit

"Famed for it. That is, as much as I'm known for anything."

"Infamous for it , more like... but I love your flaws too..." A smile "I'm not entirely well in the head."

"Compared to me, you are sound as a pound, Dearest." Stroking her back, kneeding. "What else can I do to help, Callirdora?"

"I think unless you' have any other ideas, we're stuck at waiting mode for Ireland and other things as mentioned."

He growls quietly. "Damn. Very well." Another long moment. "Do you have to go soon?"

"No, no I don't..." She snuggles with him "I even brought a DVD of one of your favorite movies and had an idea of watching it with you. Interested?"

"You.... " Such a simple gesture, and he is so overwhelmed. "Yes. Yes, I am. Shall I go out and make popcorn? Would you like any refreshment?"

"You get the popcorn I'll prepare the drinks?" She compromises with him in their little war of giving

"Can we be seen out there at the same time?" Seriously. "Getting food and drink? And coming back here?"

She makes a gesture, now looking like a younger human woman with no fae mein "Yes, yes we can." The cantrip at work

He goggles briefly... "I... yes, I'll meet you back here."

"Thank you big daddy," She dimples and flounces off.

He watches her go, and tugs his clothes back on. ".... death of me...." He mutters before heading out to make popcorn in the club kitchen.

Soon enough, the two are snuggled and watching one of his favorite movies, beverages, popcorn, and each other well in hand
