(He waits a minute, then starts forward along the trod)

"Anything goes."

It smells lightly of blood. But oddly it almost smell of carnal pleasure. Of lust and satisfaction. The wings above seem to draw closer and Thirteen pauses. "A moment." She whispers to he others. "The guardian." Then it lands before them, looking to be part demon, part dragon. A dragon with odd demonic features. It lands before Thirteen and she walks up to it. Its black, dark like the trod itself, but its eyes glow a baleful orange in the twilight. She is lifted so she can whisper in its ear. Its large claw wrapping about her entire form easily.

(He stops when told, eyes sharp and dark, waiting and watching)

Pierrot waits, watches - patient, happy to be in this moment, and have everything else put aside.

the costumed troll takes in the view of the dragon, his imagination sparked

It lets out a sound. Laughter perhaps? Then it sits her down. She bows to it, and it to her. Then it takes off, back to the skies. "Quickly now, while its amused." She moves forward at a fast walk. "Do not run though. It likes to give chase."

He moves at a steady long legged walk, making sure to lose his compatriots

(He strides, keeping pace, a walk that is brisk but seems utterly confident)

Zara falls in line, despite the urge to watch the fascinating creature.

"That was Basile." She gives a slight smirk. "A harmless sounding name for a powerful guardian."

"What, is it kind of like....I dunno, that Sphynx and cats on that old movie, what is it, Mirrormask? You tell it a joke, and it distracts it?"

Is curious as well, at the answer to that

"He wanted to know why their was an extra." Said with a look to Earl then back to Ice. "I told him he could have the left overs, if anything happened. And that I heard trolls went well with Tabasco."

"Figured they'd be tough, need to really marinade them first."

He rolls his eyes

Then they can hear. A din of party goers. From the sound of it, this party has been in swing for a while. They step out of a shed in the back of a dirty ally way. "Here we go." Thirteen fixes her mask, and steps to the side to let the others off the trod. "If for some reason you must go back without me. Find a way to make Basile laugh. Make him amused and he will not harm you."

"Crap, does he like knock-knock jokes?"

He smiles "I think I might manage that."

"He seems fond of stories about you being humiliated. " She offers. Moving towards the end of the ally way. Once everyone is through the trod.

"Oh I got a million of those," Dryly

And he moves through

"The Baron knows puns, I would think..."

"I'll just drop by and say 'hel-Loa'"

At the end of the ally way is lit street at the end of that street...a dead end and a party in full swing. Fae mixed in with mortals. Glamour thick in the air. Drinks and snacks, even drugs laced with it, keeping everyone...merry. Colorful beads litter the street. Stalls with food are set up on both sides. Different bands playing at different locations. In the center of it all is a stage. On the stage is a thin mortal man wearing a golden colored crown. His neck looped again and again with strings of plastic beads. Many empty beer bottles litter the bottom of his throne. "I degree pants optional for the next hour!" Said in a drunken fashion. One the corner of the stage sits a handsome sidhe man. A fools cap on his head. He takes the ribbing of his court good naturedly.

A deadman's party, well, at least he's dressed for it.

(He looks for any female mortals, someone it might be safe - if not conclusive -- to test his theory of Mists on)

(Uninterested in the man in a crown)

Zara is all eyes, finding a place in the shadows of her companions - clownish costume feeling out of place in its modesty.

(A 'Queen' if there is one)

There are many mortal women in all stages of dress. Some completely naked. At the decree of pants optional, several people shed theirs in a heady abandon. The small group is checked out, by many different people. The party is wild, almost out of control. But people seem to be having fun.

(Even Ice isn't THIS 'wild' -- something of the -- well, not prudish, but reserve of his nature still exists, and he's more aware of it than he had been. He doesn't try to push through it, either, for now -- merely remaining off to the side, searching with his eyes)

"Hey baby.." Said by one women who is currently only wearing a long shirt, beads and a mask. "You new around here?" A woman asks as she notes Ice looking about.

For Earl, it's all about taking in the visuals...that dark glamour dose has him feeling a little less honorable than normal... but he is curious as to the House of the lord here, and looks for designs indicated it.

(His eyes flick to her, narrowed, but he spreads a slow grin, playing along) "First time here. Don't know anybody, really. You local?"

(His rasp might be lost under the music, in paart)

Satyr bands must be at work. For music that urges one to follow their desires, fills the air. The sidhe or the fool, on the stage gives a few people a thumbs up and laughs in delight as people fall over themselves to get a word in with him. A sharp eye can catch a tattoo, one of a dragon snaking up his arm.

Has sharp eyes, and makes a note of it.

Zara sways a little, moving in time to the music - here, now, no other worries to think on, not tonight.

(He's noting kiths; not a lot of sluagh; he, Thirteen and Zara might even be the only ones visible. Satyr, undoubtedly, abound)

But the music... makes him want to grab Zara and whirl her about all over again. Baron Samedi looks at Zara with a bit more boldnes than normal, and when she sways, starts to move before her. No twerking here ...but matching her moves, like a swaying pine to her shorter willow

There are some large almost lumbering forms in the crowd. And now and then someone that prowls by, might set Zara and Earl on edge. Look there's even a group of boggans?

Thirteen looks to Zara and Earl, figuring they are safe together. Then she moves a touch closer to Ice, though not to close. The women almost wraps herself around him, if allowed. Blond haired and dark eyed she leans into him. "As local as one can be handsome."

Zara wants to dance, and does not seem to mind a tall blue partner for it... though she almost seems coy, teasing with a curling arm, a cocked hip, a flash of a smile.

(She's not allowed, his grin sharp, almost razored. But he stops her with hands resting on her shoulders. Very close to her neck) "Yeah? What should I call you?" (One finger strays near her throat, ostensibly fingering a bead)

"Cally. Or Baby, which ever you like." Her tongue pokes out to wet her lips. "Do you need a drink handsome?"

Earl presses forward, allowing space for Zara to slip back. He reaches to place a hand on her hip and pull her forward, but also realizes she may wish to evade.

But his eyes definitely don't hide a hunger.

"Name's Ian." (A quick widening of his grin, amused) "If you can remember it in the morning, might have a surprise for you, then. If you want it."
