Any of you planning on converting your Firnost characters over to C20? I'll be interested in seeing what the consensus is around the chat.

I have characters in another venue that I'll need to convert, but haven't wanted to start that work (just cuz laaazy)

And Morthwyl is new enough that it wouldn't really show much I don't think

I am torn on Z because of soothsay

Yeah, they need some sort of fatebending art to allow Fair and Foul Fortune

I mean, I get it - wisp makes SENSE in soothsay

Yeah, but it's a drastic absence you feel

I mean, there's no Evil Eye equivalent that I can see

yeah. And Evil eye is a classic

and it was wonderfully flexible

either quick & easy bonuses, or room for the ST to play

Yeah. I admit. I liked it. Kind of odd they wanted the Wildness of Unleashing, but dropped that

I suppose a treasure could do much the same.

But, see, Zara is built around soothsay

So it hurts her Nod

I think it's rigged a bit high on the DC given the reduced dice

Yeah. When something takes an hour to do, it should not be tapped out a -4

(Need to look those up again but I think I saw one that had like you doing numerous things for a long time and all you got was a -3)

And they are, like, stupid & repetitive things

yeah. Which is sad, as I love the Seasonal Arts. Those are all awesome

But Arts should be more like Mage than Vampre

Yeah. I get that they thought Unleashing would shake it up. But I'm not crazy about the famine until you feast extremes

And Unleashing is COOL

..i hate that dragon's ire is an art

I don't mind it as an art in concept, but making it so you have to spend valuable actions buffing and then hope your foe holds still for it defeats its purpose

Yup. I mean, just... just let fae be badass?

I mean, look at werewolf or vampire and they have INSTANT ways to buff combat - blood, rage, etc
