Overall, I approve of the changes to the Houses. Kith changes seem fairly even, though I still want Nockers to edge out Dougal for building etc.

I may house rule a few things but other than that

Nockers aren't my fav, but I understand what it's like to respect the edge . You can give any kith a Stealth five eventually, but all other things even, I give it to sluagh for example. (Talking to you, Bathouse Scathach)

The cantrip system ... still wrapping my head around that. On one hand, having them NOT depend on Characteristics means you can have a frail sluagh cast a formerly stam based art as well as a troll and I'm fine with that. Magic shouldn't always be tied. On the other hand, the 'as many dice as you have in the art' discourages jack of all trade types and pushes for specalists

I guess I just need to relearn the art casting. I DO think the bunks are given less credit than they're due, but then I always thought their samples were a bit under done... And some of the Duchy choices confuse me.

Well, the state equal duchy stuff they use does not work in my mind for a lot of things. They merge HUGE states that dwarf New England states... and make it one Duchy, where as say Rhode Island remans its own. If you want to say .. 'oh, its based on population' even then it can fall apart for some. particularly Texas. It makes no sense that Cali is four or so Duchies in Pacifica, but Texas is one large Duchy? Bonkers. Texas has 4 of the top ten most populated cities currently, AND is geographically diverse big.

A minor gripe that's easily fixed by individual STs... but it smacks of "This was written by people who have never been off a coastal state" 🙂
