"Right!" She perks up, seeing that Clio understands.

"If it's not going to Eir Frey... I'll include a booklet of notes about the herbs and dosages. I don't want to cause an incident, and I don't know if this other troll knows her herb-lore like the granddame did."

"A good idea. I'll hold off the letter until then" she nods "Oh, I was hoping for a full report from you on all that happened from YOUR perspective?"

A wary look. Clio is no boggan, but.... "A private report? Or... "

"For the records and histories?"

"Ah. I can handle that."

"Oh well...it's part of my job so.. yes I was hoping"

"Do you want me to write something up, or just tell you?"

Not sure how this works, she's never had anything to report before!

'oh I was hoping you'd dictate?" She gets papers and pen out

"Sure! ...actually, if you want to come to my... it's not quite a workshop, but there's a corner of an unused office I kinda... appropriated? I can start putting together the salve you wanted while we chat."

"Surely" She nods

She shows her the way, and soon is chopping and mixing fresh and dried herbs and tinctures, while also talking to Clio.

"...So, with the. Um. The donation of dross from Count Trispeax's stores, we were able to extend our capabilities to heal all of the most grievously wounded, with some left to bolster the fighters who were cleaning up the remnants of the attacking monsters."

She arches a brow at this story "it seems a bit..sugar coated"

"If these are official records, then I'm not saying anything that could reflect poorly against Brightwinds. Records can be... like, subpoenaed, can't they? Let whoever reads them read between the lines, if they wish."

"I see your point but.. the Baroness decides whree CLOSED records go. And as scribe i can close them until she decides what to do with them"

"Oh. In that case, for the closed records?"

Nessa is a bit embarrassed, or rather guilty, as she describes how she 'masterminded' a theft from the Count's own coffers.

Clio drops the quill twice

then resumes

Her cheeks are quite red as she relates how she convinced a Sidhe on how hospitality could be bent to infer appropriation... and that as far as she knows, no one has said boo about it to Sparrow so far.

"Though it if somehow does come back to us? Please be clear that it was my idea." A sigh. "I will not have others blamed for my foolhardiness."

A brow "I doubt a certain knight considers himself blameless"

A soft stamp of a hoof. "Well, you asked for my version." She gives a small smile.

"Noted" A smile

"Speaking of which, I don't know where to find Ded Romeo, but if you see him, could you give him this? I figure you may be looking for him next if you're going down the line."

She moved to a closet which is locked, and uses a key that is on a thin cord around her neck. "I didn't want Irene or the kids getting into this..."

She brings out a small pot with a rather delicate and innoculous looking flower in it, clusters of tiny white blossoms.

She gathers it up "Mm anything I should tell him?

"It's water hemlock..." She cautious, "Quite poisonous. Please try not to touch the bare leaves."

She continues to explain, "It's native to the area, and grows wild along creeks... this particular one was right in a creekbed by one of the common trails where I've seen children visit to swim, though. I didn't want to uproot it... it's still a living plant, and hasn't done anything wrong... but I figure if anyone is likely to want a poisonous garden, it might be a sluagh."

"Oh my..if he doesn't want it, he'll certainly trade it"

She smiles. "Oh, I'm glad you agree. I was worried that it might sound a little... prejudiced, to think that a sluagh might be a fan of such..."

As Nessa smiles dumbly, and the Player realizes that the Dairrean might have appreciated that gift, belatedly, oh well.

Such is the danger of his good looks. Poisoners are never sexy in the movies

"It makes ME nervous, but yes I agree" A nod

"In fact... yes, I think so. " She talks to herself, then realizes that Clio is still there. "Sorry, I was just thinking, I should make a sign, or a booklet, that shows the plants in the area to avoid for the little ones."

"I'm not in favor of clear cutting and putting in a golf-course lawn, of course, but with our childlings always running about out there... I do worry."

"I'd help with that surely"

"There's poison oak, and poison sumac, probably more hemlock blooms, stinging bull-nettle is a nasty one but has lovely flowers..."

She writes this down, her fingers jotting down everyword in flowing script

Nessa has pictures as well, and descriptions! She has a delicate hand when it comes to sketching herbs and floral representations...

"You're really good at this" SHe says "The drawing as well"

Her cheeks brighten a touch. "I'm no artist, not like Sparrow... her work is so inventive and wonderful. I can just do a reasonable replication of what I've seen. See, it's important, these leaves here, look just like a water lettuce, so you have to watch for the shape of the stem... and that's not even getting started on mushrooms. Precision is important!"

"I can see, but nevertheless, you should show the baroness. She can admire exactitude"

Oh, now her cheeks turn pink again.
