For Irene, folks being back is wonderful!

Ganbold says "my sister is back. Does this mean you won't braid my tail anymore? hers IS longer"

"But I used black and red ribbons. Very warrior-like."

"Thank you, I know you prefer purple" He says "But i must be a Khan and they have expectations" A shake of his head

"Genghis Khan wore braids."

"He did!" A grin "And you make me feel closer to him. Thank you"

"I think he'd be jealous of your ponytail. Maybe we could find some, like, feathers or cool decorations for next time?"

"Maybe a hawk feather?" Hopeful "They are fierce"

"Sure!"

"THank you, Irene. If I ever rule a great horde, I will make sure people with clever hands are not bored"

She waggles her fingers and smiles.

"I wish mine were as nimble as yours, I am swift, and not clumsy, but you could tie the silver lining of a cloud into a knot" He says "Now how do I pay you for the braiding?"

"Ummmm..."

"I could quest for a purple flower of tribute!" Picking flowers are cool if you make it a quest

She shines! "Okay!"

"It will be done. Dad knows the trails really well! He'll show me where I can find some"

"If you do enough quests, maybe you can become a knight?"

"Perhaps, but I am sure I"ll make Khan sometime" he says

"For sure!"

A sigh in the hallways

Irene seeks.

And finds Cathir in the hallway , in the corner.

"Caitir?"

"SOrry, I" She looks up "I could have helped. You know? Healed and stuff, but they wouldn't let me go to help the Count's people"

Irene tilts her head. "Because you were healing here."

"Because I'm a childling" She says "And there's always someone better"

The sidhe girl stands up and smooths her outfit "i'm sorry, I probably sound whiney"

"I think if you are whining because you want to HELP people, it might not be whining" Ganbold says and looks to Irene to see what she thinks

"But we needed healing here."

"And you won't be a childling forever."

"Are you hurt?" Suddenly she's looking them both over

"Nope! But what about how you healed Pepper?"

"Oh" She smiles "Well, yeah. Pepper's nice to us too"

It does cheer her up "I guess folks MIGHT have needed me here whiel the others are gone"

"Right? If we sent all our healers to the Count, we wouldn't have any when we needed them."

"Irene's right" Ganbold says "And they need Irene here as a page, and myself as..." He ponders "Well, I am just good for morale"

"You're run messages fast, " Cathir says "Just because I'm feeling sorry for myself doesn't mean I don't see how amazing you two are. Lots of hustle We childlings do a LOT" Ready to rally them

"This place would fall apart without us."

"It would... " Cathir nods "The Baroness would never have any fun either. YOu know how we have to get her to show us art work and take us places or she just works works works"

"AND works."

"And works" Ganbold nods "it is to be admired but she needs her moments of fun"

"We serve a purpose! You weren't here, before."

"Well," Cathir ponders "I'm learning that I can't just expect folks to listen to me even though I have good ideas and want what's best for them ANYONE can say that . I have to do what Sparrow does, and act, and if folks want to come along that's great. But I'm glad my being here is a good thing" A smile "Thank you"
