And they do, Gerd's dress swishes and slows her a down a bit so she's not surprised when the Baroness passes by her in the hallway. "Yeah, I'm worried someone snitched it first too"

"I mean, Hope is a good cook. So is Pepper."

"Mary Ellen made me a great carot cake first day I came here" She says and opens the fridge. There's a note blocking the pie

Gerd blinks "Damn. . ah, YOU get it out"

The sidhe grins, and retrieves the pie.

"Hope keeps this place running."

"Yeah, hey" Confusion "She says her Steward position is probably temporary... but hasn't she been your steward almost all your rule here so far?"

Hope says that i's temporary, but she's never quit, or offered to quit. And Hamlin has sung songs about her to the tune of the 'Boxer' by Simon and Garfunkel

"Yes." She plates up two slices of pie.

"Then I am kind of confused" She sniffs at the pie

"I will continue to pay her salary as she continues to do the work." Sparrow shrugs.

"May I have a slice as well?"

She pushes the second plate towards gerd.

She takes it "thanks. Just want to be able to tell Hope I was given permision" She takes a bite of a slice "mmm not my FAVORITE pie but still so good"

"Oh, you are allowed to like inferior pies."

"I am a very magnanimous liege." She pops a giant bite into her mouth.

"Oh hey now, Key Lime is anything but inferior" but a smile slips

"And you can have all you want!"

that gets a laugh, "you ARE magnanimous!"

"Now, let me tell you not about the rules broken, but how Amazing Nessa was... while we eat" And she relates the tail of the purification and fountain healing

And Sparrow listens!

And Sparrow gets to hear how amazing Nessa is... and is probably not surprised, but pleased and proud anyway
