Grete comes to the hold after school. Not in the best mood either. Apparently Becky has started calling her 'rock humper' and 'stonebrain' and other nicknames behind her back and some of the jokes have spread. There was also 'Spoiled weird'

She looks angry enough to kick rocks. Except she likes rocks, and she likes her toes intact. So she kicks a wall instead, the note to take home to her 'parent or guardian' crumpled in a fist.

As she enters in the hold, she sees a thane "How goes, Grete?"

"STUPID." She retorts.

"Oh, well, there's ice cream with the Baroness and Cathir in the kitchen if you want?"

"I don't WANT any..." A pause. "Is there rocky road?"

"Yes, they have rocky road" A nod

"I guess." She stomps over that direction.

In the small area near the kitchen, there's Sparrow, and Cathir.

Eating ice cream!

Cathir looks up "Oh, HEY... come on Grete. I had a bad day at school so the Baroness thought ice cream would be nice. We got all kinds?"

"I don't think I get any." A SCOWL.

She drops the crushed note on the counter by Sparrow.

"Hey Grete! There's rocky road, isn't that your favorite?" A pause. "What's this?"

The sidhe picks up the note.

"it's a LIE is what it is." The note - more of a letter home to Grete's guardian, states that she was given in school suspension for a physical altercation with one of her classmates... it must not have been TOO bad, but it requests that she sign it to confirm it was received, talks of the 'strikes' policy, and so forth...

Cathir looks startled and starts to get Grete a bowl of rocky road "Sounds like you had a worse day than I did"

"You got in a fight?"

"I'm supposed to get punished. They made me spend recess sitting in the classroom and not outside in the yard. I don't care." A bit of a lie there.

"BECKY said I pushed her. I didn't. She fell on her own stupid face and that's not my fault." "Also... a bit of a lie there, not the complete truth.. but Sparrow needn't be a Gwydion to perhaps pick up on this from Grete's expression and tone.

Cathir IS a Gwydion and as she listens, her interest goes up

"....Becky?" A glance at Cathir and then to Grete again.

"She's the worst" Cathir mutters

"Yeah, I was just showing Erin the chrysoberyl I got for my birthday? And Becky said it was just a moldy rock, and then Erin wouldn't look at it any more and SHE started laughing too, and then Becky tripped over a rock and fell on her fat stupid face."

"Becky does sound like a rather miserable person."

"She makes OTHERS miserable" Cathir corrects

"And everyone follows her lead. I don't know WHY. She's not even a sidhe."

A sudden suspicious look. "Is she?! I HOPE not. If she is I don't ever want her to pop."

"If she is she must be balor" A scowl from Cathir "But I didn't see any glamour in her. She's just a mean bi... bad person"

"What if she's one of them autumn sidhe? If she IS a Balor, then we SHOULD teach her a thing or two."

"Bullies are hard to deal with."

"And I bet there's other people Becky has hurt."

"Then why do people listen to her?"

"I worry I'm gonna explode with anger and punch her lights out" The Gwydion admits

"I wouldn't blame you." Grete nods.

"Lots of reasons, but often because they're afraid of being targets, too."

"So we should form a posse and gang up on her?"

"I won't tell you to be the bigger person or ignore them - honestly, it doesn't work with bullies."

"But... yes. Form alliances. Don't get physical."

"But..."

A frown.

"I know it's tempting, but the school will side with her then."

She scowls, glaring at the note and knowing that Sparrow is right.

"So you have to destroy her socially."

"I'll admit, this is more... Eiluned or Fiona turf than mine."

"We have to treat her like an Aill?"

"That's... you know, that's not wrong."

Grete drags a toe on the ground. "I'm no good at that."

"Me neither" She admits "But Sparrow's right. We got to find a way to make folks stop liking her, for their own good as well as some justifiable payback"

"Well, maybe not good at it alone, Grete. But you aren't."

"I might suggest recruiting Felicity."
