Gloria turns out to be a delight. Her unicorn rider lore is... worthy.

Irene, of course, has tiny plastic ponies on her person.

All the better for surprise play sessions.

Some of them are even Irene's

Felicty eyes one pony and arches a brow "I wondered where I put that"

"Oh?" Irene blinks.

"They're all really nice" Gloria says as she looks at the black one that has, thanks to sunlight, faded to a kind of purple

"Yeah. Which ones do you have?"

"Oh" Gloria pulls out a set, "I only got to take three"

And then she shows a wooden one, a Unicorn that isn't in the movies. It flickers with glamour, same size as the plastic

"Oh, that's a new one! What's her name?"

"I call her Star Seeker" A blush "My abuelo made her for me"

"She's beautiful."

"He did this by himself?" A bit in awe, Felicity looks it over

"Yes, he carves wood very well" Gloria puffs up

"How cool is it that you get to have your own special ponies?"

"I know. I told him he could make more, but he is not sure." Then she forwns "One girl told me Star Seeker didn't count because she's not 'official'"

Irene delicately bounces Rainbow Rose to boop noses with Star Seeker.

"Oh, well that's just silly."

"There's no way they could fit every unicorn into the movie."

"Exactly" Felicity agrees with Irene "Even in the movies, they talk about other unicorn colonies"

"My abuelo lives in Florida. He doesn't make me ponies. He plays golf."

Gloria says "Golf sounds boring"

"I like the tees. They come in all kinds of colors. And the little pencils."

"It's a Scottish game" The Eiluned says

Then Felicity says "Do you think your abeulo would make more if somoene DID pay him for it?"

"Maybe" Gloria nods

Felicity looks over at her friend Piskie "We could dream up our own unicorns"

GIANT eyes.

"Ohhhhhhhh"

(Pause)

"...even a purple unicorn with silver hair?"

"Of course" Gloria beams "Unicorns come in all colors"

"Wow. Your grampa is cool."

"Well, they're in wood colors, but we CAN apint them" Gloria says "And my Abeulo is very cool"

"I like painting!"

"She's good at painting " Feclity says "Miss Julia taught us. She's really nice"

"There's an art center in town."

"There IS?" Gloria's eyes light up hopefully

"Oh, yeah! Miss Julia does all kinds of classes, but there's other teachers, too."

"I like it when we get to work with clay."

"That's cuse you like the feel of it" Felicty says then she says "I prefer painting but I'm not as good with my hands as she is"

"Oh" Gloria blushes "I.. I draw"

"Oooo!"

"Can we see?" Felicty asks

Gloria pulls out her notebook, and opens it up. For one so young, it's pretty good! Doodles of unicorns leaping and racing

Irene claps.

"You're an artist!"

"Oh it's just.. just chicken scratch" She feels a bit cold as she says it "Nothing that good"

"Nuh-uh! Who said that? Look, how her mane is flowing like there's wind!"
