When Samhain descended, There many discoveries and benefits ,and some challenges.

For Cliff, one odd discovery was the great gather... ghosts pouring into the world as only sluagh could see. More than a few seemed aware of Changelings in the night. More than a few stared at him with an odd mix of fear and envy

Irene, well, she was tricker treating, but feels more and more unruly as the mists pour in. Her mom fusses , "Honey, stop wandering off"

"I'm not wandering, I'm adventuring."

"We're supposed to be trick or treating, not adventuring," Mom seems more restrictive tonight... of course that could be unseelie urges talking. She seems to think 'get the candy, move to the next house' move on. And Irene wants the Candy sure, but that seems so limited. And they'll leave when it gets too late as if she were a LITTLE Kid

"Mom, have a Snickers." She offers out a snack-sized treat!

"Am I staringin one of your commercials?" She jokes, "Fine, but there are still three houses left on this street"

"We'll get them!" The candy has just a bit of glamour...

A wee enchantment, and she can slip away in the distraction!

Her mother takes a bit, then more, gobbling as if suddenly ravenous, "Oh good lord, maybe I did need that more than I" she looks around, for a moment her eyes flicker with purple glamour. Then she gasps as something distant in her blood stirs "Oh this hasn't happened since... oh my ..."

Maybe there are other childlings out and about tonight, with OTHER guardians...

but Irene? Has given her mom the slip!

"Irene?" Felicity whispers to her from a window, "You got free?" The Eiluned's eyes light with mischief. Why is she at a window?

She's not on the inside of it, she's hanging

"Oh! What are we doing!?" She scrambles and climbs to reach her friend!

"This crazy lady is giving nothing but toothbrushes! " THe little sidhe says sounding very ired indeed, "She must pay a price. I'm putting images of Sharp hungry teeth on every one of her windows. You want to help?"

"Sure!" Irene is happy to go along. Tricks are fun!

It isn't exactly paint, but oils they use like finger paints that are clear at first glance, but when light hits them it does look like sharp fangs of their design

Irene giggles as she joins in the fun.

Irene gets to maike the teeth how she wants. Does she want BIG NASTY Choppers? or needle teeth? or fangs, like a wolf?

Different in every window!

So bicuspids of doom, Fangs of fear! Molars of Malice! And the most feared of all, Wisdom teeth of Woe!

"Where's your mom?" Felilcity asks as they put the extra touches on the extra bloody oils for the dreaded GINGAVITIS

"I gave her the slip! She's enchanted. Maybe Morthwyl will find her."

"He's probably looking for her" A smirk "MY knight's such a square some days, but he'll probably misbehave tonight, for once" A look at the teeth "Okay I really like the bit of red you put at the root on that one. I think we're done here"

"Wanna go get more candy?"

"Sure! If they treat, they're fine, if they don't... they get the trick"

And they slip out

"Oh yeah, if they don't we could..." Plans are made!

And a lot of fun is had. Tricks do come up. Two black cats run with cans tied to their tales while boys age 12 and 13 laugh at their work.

And Cathir watches, not knowing Irene and Felicty are seeing the same thing. Her eyes narrowing

Irene LIKES tricks, but she also likes cats.

And so she chases after the cats to rescue them!

The boys end up terrified as the girl in the Hunter garb uses her magic to put them in a pit, which will pop up again in a half hour.

Felicity helps round up the cats.. and While Irene might get a scratch is she's not VERY careful and quick handed, she gets the cats loose

"Unicorn Riders to the rescue!"

"How are you two doing?" Cathir says as she sees the cats now rubbing up against Irene and Felicty, "I put those boys in a pit. They'll be fine. "

"I hope they're sorry."

"They won't be tying cat tails"

Irene feels only held back by her wants! her whims! Sure, her friends are a part of that, but folks are always eyeing her like she might take something and she has to fret. Now she doesn't feel so restrained. Not that she goes on a stealing spree, but if it happens, it happens!

She doesn't always take things for herself, either!

Oh, wouldn't Nessa love this pretty plant? What about this tiny ceramic bird for Lady Sparrow? Oh, a rock for Grete!

Oh that's a must!

And the fact that those who are stingiest with candy are often most likely to lose things? Coincidence

Ashlee waves to them shyly , she's loaded down with candy

"Ashleeeeeeeeeeee!" The trolless is likely folded into the childling amoeba of chaos and trickery.

A HUG back, not too rough, but less worried than before "Hey. Your costume is cool"
