The Gwydion looks troubled

"Morthwyl, why the long face?"

"I.. " He bows "Pardon, Baroness. I find myself facing a situation that I am ill trained for, and I fear you might disapprove of"

"Well, perhaps I can help? I can certainly listen."

"I believe I'm developing romantic feelings for a mortal. I like her a great deal"

"However, as a Liam, I knnow you may not approve of the risks to her"

"Well, there can be challenges with mortal romance... the escheat comes first. It's a bit easier with Kinain..."

"But.. romance?" SHe grins and her feathers fluff. "I can't help but think that sounds like a cause to joy!"

"She's.. Irene's mother" He admits

He looks nervous "My own.... history with romance has failed. I..had my heart broken by a pooka lass once"

A soft frown. "I didn't know. It.... hurts, yes. I know how much that can hurt."

"Irene's mother.. is kinain, is she not? Not one that is aware of it... but she was a lovely Queen..."

"She's..weak blooded, the gift did not hit her stronngly"

She nods. "That can happen. And... hm. Yes, being open can be very tricky with thin blood. Though she also has Irene..."

"Brie is... it's amazing how she keeps bannaliity from overwhelming her. she works a great deal"

"I know that... I do not know the story of Irene's father, though it sounds like he is not in the picture."

"He's not.. Irene does not seem to suffer for the lack of a faher"

"I don't intend to replace him. But.. well, Brie..." A sigh

"Brie could possibly do well being courted and adored. And it would do you well to pursue what your heart sings."

"Then, as you do not object, I will... date her, and see if we click. And yes.. she's worthy of adoration"

She nods. "Good. ANd good luck. I only request you woo on your own merits - do not entrance her with arts. Of course, I doubt your honor would have allowed for such..."

"Never" He assures "I do not even intend to enchant her unless it.. progresses very far. Which most likely it won't"

"Don't call the future before it has a chance to come to be, Morthwyl. And yes... if it comes to something more serious, we will discuss how much to tell her. She is Kinain..."

"Yes, Baroness. And.. thank you. I am the soul of Gwydion ego in so many areas but ah, when it comes o affiars of the heart.. I fear I am ..skitish"

A rueful laugh. "Even the Fiona may quail in matters of love. There's no shame in it, Morthwyl."

"But... remember, Love Conquers. I wish the best for you, good Knight."

"Thank you. I hope you find a love as well"

"If I may, Baronness?" A smile "Don't call the future before it has a chance to come to be" and he bows

"Touche." She tips him an ironic salute.

"Is there any non romantic orders or duties for me?"

"We DO have Pennons soon - I trust you are prepared?"

"And eager" He admits

"Well then!"

"You'll be joining in I Hope?"

She wavers her hand. "Baroness. I need to be arbiter."

"Ah, burdens of command. Maybe one for exhibition?"

"That might do. I was thinking of a kite-flying contest, too..."

"Oh the children will love that. Grete could have small stones light enough to string perhaps?"

"Maybe ribbons for flying, but also decoration or painting..."

"A chance for the childrenn to show what they learned" A nod "irene loves painting"

"So does Ashlee - have you seen how good she's gotten?"

"And Irene might convince Felicity to play, too."

"Ashlee's work is amazing. I think she.. forgets her concern about her features"

"It's easy to discount appearance when you needn't worry about it."

"Yes. How do you think we can help?"

"That, I don't know. I know what I should say is she should embrace her inner self.. but.. could there not be a magical cure?"
