Irene's mom is acting funny

She seems distracted, but also smiling

This bears observation.

The song doesn't sound happy, but she smiles as she sings it "How can you see into my eyes like open doors?

Head tilt. Moms are weird.

They are... she seems to be wearing her hair down more

"Mom, can I braid your hair?"

"What? What an odd thing... why do you wannt to?"

"Because it looks pretty?"

"You're not going to make me look like a unicorn are you? I want no glitter my hair"

"No glitter. Pinky promise."

She holds out her pinky

Irene gets her brush - when she was smaller (and honestly, even now) her mom would brush and braid her hair.

"I remember when I braided your hair the first time. I swear it tried to trap my fingers"

She giggles. "Maybe, but you never tugged too hard. You're the best mom."

A smile "thank you.Sometimes I wish I could find you the best dad"

She considers.

"Like Mr. Morgan?"

"Mo.. oh" A blush "Well, he's a VERY nice man. " Her mom gets a goofy look for a moment "he's a bit younger than your mother, I.. bet he'd like a woman closer to his own age" Nervous tap of nails

"I dunno, you're both grown ups."

"Well, truuuee" She ponders "And I don't think he's that much.. honey, he's just .. I mean.. you like him?" Curious but as if affirrming something

"He's nice. Felicity is nice, too."

"Mmm Felicity is a very confident young girl, but yes, nice too." VERRY thoughtful look as her hair is tended to "Wel, if he's interested in your mom maybe he'll ask but I don't think we should get our hopes up"

"Well, you're still the best mom."

"Thank you, and in case I don't say it enouh, I Love you and you are not just a great daughter, you are a superfantabulous awesomesauce daughter"

Giggling. "C'mon, come see your hair..."

She rises to check it

Seeing what it looks by the mirror

Just a simple french braid - pretty and neat.

"Honey, I love it" she smiles "You have very skilled hands"

"And you learned well. " She moves to Irene and kisses her forehead "Love you, Irene"

"Love you, mom." A hug.

Hug returned "Now, let's gett to the park to meet your friends"
