The Land sharks stir, writhe, and leap about Grete.

She can't wean them off meat entirely, but she's found other ways to feed them. In fact, they now see her as a friend

Irene is brave! (Braver when Grete is about.)

Ganbold is amazed "You have tamed SHARKS?"

Ashlee looks over at Irene, and whispers "Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you"

"I'm not afraid. Just... "

Ashlee finishes "Wise?"

"Yeah!"

"Irene the Wise, that's what they call me."

"Well uhm.." Ashlee isnn't sure she'll agree with that, but then again Irene is a friend 'MAYBE?"

"But only about sharks."

A smile on Ashlee's ugly ugly face

Ganbold looks over at Ryder "And what are you doing?"

Ryder is doodlling on his etch a sketch "Makinng blue prints for roller skies.... so Grete can go land sking, which is like water skiing... but instead of a motorboat she'll be racing behind landsharks"

Ashlee explains to Gannbold "Ryder's a genius"

Grete nods, looking up from where she was distracted by a particularly interesting bit of rock strata. "That's right, he is."

"If he can't build it, it probably can't be built."

Ryder blushes right to his splotches and spirals "There's smarter nockers out their. Furken Grand Mistress Janet is rumored to have Tardis... though I doubt it"

"Yeah, but we don't need a tardis. We NEED shark skates. That's why you're the best."

Ryder grins toothily

"We could pretend the fort is a Tardis. Go back to Rome, or Disco..."

Ganbold scoffs "Romans... puny empire at best"

"...Mongolia?" She offers.

"YES!" Ganbold says "Can we? Pretend to go to ancient Mongollia? "

Ashlee shrugs "I don't see why not?"

"I don't know a lot about Mongolia, you'll have to help."

"Oh sure, I know all sorts of stories" Ganbold says "Legends too. Did you know the mongols once ruled China, and Marco polo visited? "

"Like the guy in the game? He must have been realy really lost to wind up all the way in China."

"Actually, his family wanted to go. They were merchants and the great silk road was like... really profitable, but while they went for hte money, he found adventure!" Ganbold smiles

"A road made of silk!?"

"Well, mortals didn't see it that way of course, but ask an Eshu and I bet she'll have stories about it"

"Oh, mortals miss things sometimes." Easy-going shrug. "But imagine the colors!"

"Does sound pretty" Ashelee admits

"And Grete would like it too.... think of the terrain changes all that walkin..." Ryder says "Though, with her could use a land sharks team to pull her on her shark skates"

She laughs at that idea. "As long as they know when to stop."

"Wheee, shark skates."

"Shark Skates, ohh haha haa" A voice says as Stu Joins them

"Stu! You've met Ganbold, right? We have our OWN centaur now." Proud of this fact.

"Hey, Nessa's..." She starts. "Well, I guess she's a wilder..."

"Yeah, but she's old." Grete reasons. "She's not even in SCHOOL any more. That makes her practically a grown-up, and that's just a skip away from being a grump."

"I guess." Irene bites on her lip.

"I like Nessa though" Ganbold says "She's and her parents are nice to me"

Stu says "We've met. No hoof prints in the library"

"Yeah, they're nice."

Ganbold smiles "But I am proud to be the reprsentive of my kith with the childlings" He assures Grete

"We have more kiths with childlings than any other seeming, though. Nobody else has a witchel."

Stu nods "Statistically we 're the most Diverse Chidlling Hegemony in three kingdoms, surely great prizes await us"

Her chest puffs up a bit and she squares her shoulders. "I heard that there's a Freehold in Mexico that has a clurichaun for an heir. Ain't that something?"

"Wow!"

"I wonder if anyonen is trying to steal her lucky charms?" Stu ponders
