"It's very impressive!" He declares. Clearly Ganbold is the sort to declare things

"Hey, who's out there?" Ashlee's voice

"It's US!"

"Oh, hey" She peeks out to wave then sees a new person ducks back in "You didn't tell me we had a new boy"

Ganbold says "Hi. I'm the new boy . My name is Ganbold"

"He's a centaur." Grete adds, somewhat unnecessarily. "We're looking for gold."

"No gold here..." A huff and sound of a cap being pulled down over much of a face

"Ashleeeee, don't hide! Ganbold is nice. And you're a warrior, I bet he'll want you for his army."

"Of course there's no gold here." Grete says reasonably. "That's why we have to go find it."

"Well, if he says anything about my face like that girl at the park did I might angry" Warning. Oh she's had a bad day

"Your face is better tahn Rover Olgar's, and he's a badass hero" Gannbold says "A rover"

"Ohhh, what girl? Should we get her?"

"It's not important."

"We could give her a good sock in the nose!"

"What would be the point? I'll still be ugly"

Ashlee sighs "Sorry, I don't mean to spoil fun. Just come in. See the fort"

"You're Ashlee." Huff.

Ashlee peeks out and smiles at Irene, then she blinks "Why is Ganbold dressed like a unicorn?"

"Because of the unicorn riders!"

"WE. ARE. Unicorn-Riders. WE. RIDE. Yooooo-Ne-Corns!"

Ashlee begins to Chant, Felicity is a bigger fan but she likes it too

"If. You. wanna do EVIL, stopping you, we are SWORN."

"We ride UNICORNS! " They finish up

Ganbold says "Thankn you for introducing me to the Unicorn riders" He takes his mask off and ggrins "Tada.. I'm nnot REALLY a unicorn. It's just a disguise"

Grete is starting to regret leaving her nice, sensible rock grinder.

Ashlee sees this, and forgets her ownn problems "SO.. you wanted to prospecting?"

Her eyes have glazed over a bit, but she perks back up when the subject changes. "Yeah! I never thought about finding gold around here, but Ganbold mentioned it, so now I was interested in that."

"Oh, yeah! We need pie pans, right?"

"And washboards?" Ganbold says

"Maybe! I bet Hope has some!"

"Maybe she has some that still have pies in them..."

ganbold says "Then onward! We ride... by which I mean we walk... because therre are too manny of you"

"Then we could EAT the pies!"

"And THEN pan for gold!"

"I prefer walking." Grete assures Ganbold. "Then I'm in charge of where I want to go. Until I can get a car, that is. Someday!"

"Pies sound good" Ashlee sigghs "I'm hunggry"

"I hope it's blueberry!"

"or apple."

"or peach!"

"What on Earth? " Hope peeks out "What are you childrenn talking about?"

"The horde hungers! We crave tribute in the form of pies, and then we wish to use the pans to forage for GOLD!" Ganbold explains

"Does it?" She looks amused

"I don't know if we're a horde." Grete reasons, "But you DO make an awfully good pie."

"For gold in the river, like a 49er!"

"We're going to check the creek down past the fort. There's no gold around there, I'd know about it." She says with certainty. "Not in the GROUND. But it MIGHT come from anywhere upstream!"

"How many pie pans do you think you need?" The Steward inquires , a bit of amusement at this

"Well, I think we need four pie pans... I dn't know how to use the washboard, but maybe three pans and one of those?"

"And a washboard.." A dubious look "Let me see what we have" She vanishes for a bit, then returns "Oh kids, I'm sorry, tragedy has struck"

She says this VERY Dramatically

"Oh no! Did someone steal the pans? It wasn't me, I swear!"
