Kelby enjoys the ribs "mmm my god this is good"

"I know! I'm so spoiled here."

How... how can sidhe eat ribs and not get messy? It must be magic.

Kelby looks at Sparrow and is remindeed why some folks resent sidhe beyond the whole bad history thing "I kind of want to mess up your dress now"

Hope laughs

"Now, now, I think the pie in the face is being saved for Carnival..." She smiles at the jest, but the glimmer of anxiety hides behind it.

Kelby says "Oh you'll still look great. Hit you with ap ie and folks will just wish they could wear marange half so well" And she seems to mean it kindly

A smile in response. "My mother, she always took her duties very well. So, here's hoping."

Hope says "I think I'll take some precautions" A nod

"Precautions about what?" Grete says, trailing over, her new mole plush peering out of her overall front pocket.

"Ah, Carnivale can be rough on nobles, dear"

"Hey Grete. Having a good Imbolc?"

She looks a bit concerned, her brow furrowing, but she nods. "Yeah! I got this mole here. I call him Molethwyl."

Sparrow laughs. "Good name!"

Hope laughs at that too "Wonderful name"

"Tomorrow, I have a surprise for you and the other childlings. An Imbolc gift."

"But we got gifts already! Were we supposed to give gifts? Was I supposed to get you a gift?"

"Nope! The Fire gave a gift, but you will need to wait to see." Impish smile.

"It's a doozy" the troll brand says

"The Fire?" She gives Sparrow a dubious look, but then grins. "I guess if rocks can talk, a fire can talk. I want to see it! But for now I want to see those cupcakes."

Hope says "Oh yes, this way.."

"Cupcakes are most pressing, yes."

She grins and follows Hope.

Kelby waves "Me I've got Barbecue. Nice meeting you, Grete" And a look to the Baroness "May I have a room for the night?"

"Certainly! We have a few guest quarters prepared. I assumed the Brand might need some rest."

"Thank you, Baroness" She says "Forgive. I should go. Not sure how I'll explain things to Bix or.. oh wow, is that Spencer I hear?"

"Oh yes, he visited!"

"Oh my. Wow. The family has changed"

"...I believe you will want one of the east tower rooms."

She rises andd bows "Thank you, Baroness. I'll head off"

And off she does go. Wow. TWO .. no three DeBukes in a noble hold

As for Sparrow, she feels the energy of the hold, the happiness of her people. HER people. Wow.

It's a lot to soak in! But - today was a good day.

And somewhere, Irene explains to others that a Rhino is a noble and magnificent animal... and fights a yawn. the kids are tiring out

Perhaps Sparrow's fondness of cushions and plush rugs has paid off - there's a puppy pile of childlings in one corner, and scattered groups of quieting revelers. A visiting clurichaun has rolled up in his cloak and fallen asleep on a fat green pillow.

Felicitty is already snoozing. Her knightt will have to tuck her in later

A hint of movement - Nessa has returned, and peeks in on the way through to her chambers. Belated, but home once more. "It was a nice party." She says with a smile, seeing Sparrow still flitting about.

"It was. What do you make of your first Fae holiday?"

"It was... exciting, and humbling... and overwhelming, and lovely."

"Sounds about right."
