"Oh, that's Malachite! There are other greens too... peridot, and jade, and Crys... crys..." She frowns a bit then grins. "Crysoberyl!"

"Oh, I wouldn't like that either. It's smooth and round and feels nice to hold like it is."

Sparrow maybe seeing stars. It's.. actually Good. But damn, strong and it has an after burn

A dainty cough. "Well! Great for a fire holiday!"

"Crysoberyl, never heard of it. I thank you for teaching me" The knight seems to mean it. Despite Felicty's comments, he's pretty good with kids

The Daireann says "I remind you, you did insist on crafts," he smiles though "Yes, it is quite flamable"

"Do you like it because it's green? Or do you like the swirlies, or how it feels in your hand? I like that it's cool, but then warms up in your palm... it's like it's purring."

"I did, and you did wonderfully!" A peck on the cheek.

"I helped" Brynn says envying hsi brother's cheek

"Good!" And a peck for the twin.

Goofy grins. Even other sidhe aren't immune to a redheaded beauty's affection

Sir Morthwyl says "Warms in you.." he takes his glove off, and feels it "I see what you mean I think .Not as well as one of your kith, but yes. I like green because it's a house color... but the mix of heat and cool reminds me of my house's intensity too. "

And Sparrow sees Clio's letterheads and scroll work and the like

Sparrow inspects them - are they original works?

Nessa is not partaking in the main festivities nor the brandy, but has found a somewhat secluded nook near a large open window, and is sketching... this time, with chimerical implements and without danger of Ignorance.

Irene, helpfully, takes over her rock for Nessa to see.

Most of them are copies of public domain poems with a small note of acrediation

"Pretty!" Nessa admires appropriately.

Morthwyl says to Grete "But Grete, surely I should pay you something? I feel a debt in this"

"Good lord that's not .. wow. Again" Rose says taking another shot of whiskey

Grete looks up at him, a bit confused. "But I don't need any money."

Sir Morthwyl nods "Very well, then how about this. If I find a stone I think might be of interest to you, I'll try to bring it to you, or at least tell you about it so you can decide for yourself. It maybe a while, for I don't know when I might stumble onto one, but that way I can take this one, give it a home, and then later help you help another?"

Grete gives him a huge grin! "It's a deal!" Holding out her hand to him to shake.

And he shakes it, glove still off, skin vs skin grip. "Strong grip there, young stonefinder"

She shakes. "Mom would say I ruined my nails and make me sleep with my hands in gloves filled with lotion. But I like my calluses, they make my hands tougher."

BUT Sparrow finds one or two that are by Clio herself

Nessa looks to Irene, "Do you like the singers?"

"Never be ashamed by a strong grip as long as you do not use it to bully. Never be ashamed of a strong heart unless you use it for evil. " Mortwyl says and nods

THOSE, Sparrow reads more closely.

Well, hello, one is about Brightwynds, the way the sun kisses the stone

"I do! The sluagh sounds kind of spooky but pretty, and the pooka is funny, and the troll reminds me of the radio."

A smile from the sidhe. The calligraphy is nice, but these are special.

Felicity is DYING of embarrassment. Why does her knight have to be SOOO corny?

Grete is pleased by BOTH the praise AND the embarrassment!

Nessa nods to Irene. "I think I like the rat-fellow the best, myself. A good laugh is always pleasant, and... the troll, he sings like a dream, but... after he finished? I could only think about his voice, and I didn't remember half of the words he sang..." A flush on her cheeks.

"Oh yeah, Caitir was siiiiiggggggghhhhhhhiiinnngggg."

Clio says "Do you like my.. oh.. you found the poems" A blush "Hope you like them

"Was not" Catir protests.. and gives her self a headach

"I like them very much. They're very evocative... 'And the setting sun lays her fingers upon the cliff-face in a rosy caress, bidding good night to the souls beyond"

Crowds have thickened as the common folk realze they really ARE allowed all this food. Really are allowed to sell and get paid. Really are allowed to laugh and have fun

Clio says "It's yours" She says

"Well, it is yours. You should do a reading of your work, I think it would be lovely. But yes, I would like to purchase this copy."

A blush "I'll do a reading later then" Clio promises "Maybe in an alcove"

"I look forward to it!"

And so, Sparrow checks on the crafters - sidhe and common both, making no few purchases of wares.

And then, about 20 minutes in.. there's a ruckus

The Baroness approaches.

"You wan a piece of me?" Rose says as the crowd around her "You think all I can do is shoot you just walk in hoof range budy! I'll take anyone anytime"
