"I have trouble reaching my hair sometimes now... it's much longer than it used to be." She admits to Irene. "Maybe you could help me with a braid sometimes? Dad is a pro-braider, but he has so much to learn now, too..."

Hope gives a small nod of approval

"Oh! Could I put ribbons in?"

"She's really very good with ribbons" Hope says. Though she suspects it's only a matter of time before Irene starts eying that tail

Nessa makes an act of consideration, before nodding with a smile. "I don't mind ribbons, sure. I might lose them if I go running, unless you braid them in nice and tight though."

Irene's eyes light up, "I can do that"

Still moving around the room - carefully, afraid to break anything. A few items she shifts - a small table against the wall, and so forth until she can stretch and not worry about stepping on anything... then a look down at the floors, hoping she doesn't see marred hardwood under her hooves!

Nope, the floors seem quite resilient with a mix of hard stone, and throw rugs pinned by furniture

A relieved look as she taps a hoof, and find the ground solid. A grin, it's almost musical. But no, that's a different hooved girl.

"Do you want to braid my hair now? I could use a break from all the lessons." She admits. "My brain feels very full."

"Oh you poor thing" Hope says then says "oh, if you want a hot shower there is a rest room with shower here " SHe shows

Irene beams and moves to tend to the hair.

"A shower? Even if I have to cram into a stall, that sounds LOVELY." She exhales, after a couple weeks of bucket and cloth bathing... and a few dips in a stream.

"The bathroom was.. it took some work" Hope blushes "You'll figure it out"

Irene says "Want me to wait until after your shower? I can come back when you're cleaned"

"Oh, yes, please. I'm sure my hair will be so much nicer once it's washed." SHe looks like she could hug Hope - and she does!

Hope feels very tiny, but hugs back. Irene gets a hug too. And both withdraw.

As might be expected, the shower is spacious and open. Some of the piping looks abit steam punkish (Nocker rush job) but hey

Otha and Bix are arguing. WHile she's the official seer, he's done his part to help around the area

"They are an old kith returned, they will KNOW the sidhe are rulers." She points out

"They will know sidhe are beautiful, that doesn't mean centaurs kiss the ring or ever did. Stories show they could be a rebellious bunch" Bix counters

"Unless someone puts foolish notions of rebelion in their head," Otha says "I'm telling you, your omens are wrong"

"Oh I know my runes" He protests

"A kith returned born to defy?" A snort from her "We have redcaps"

"The centaurs could be it" He says

"Unfortunate if so, but I do not believe so" she says

"So do I.." And they argue some more. Some might think it was a sign of romance- SOme would be wrong. Yet there is a begrudging respect between the old school Aesin and the modernist troll
