Grete hears Felicity actually so eexcited she forgets to be snotty "CENTAURS! No other Eiluned has seen centaurs! I'm the first. My knight tells me I can write up a lettter and submit it to the House"

Catir says "You've pestered Mr. Philips with enough questions I'm surprised he hasn't kicked you"

"Then I would be the first Eiluned KICKED by a satyr in over 200 years!" She boasts

the Gwydion girl stares at the Eiluned one. The House of Secrets is nuts She decides

Grete looks unsure. "I don't see what the big deal is. They're basically just bigger Satyrs. It would be cool if they were donkeys or mules, or hardy goats. But I bet they don't even FIT down a mineshaft."

"Not everything is about digging, Grete" Felicity says with a sigh

Catir ponders "They seem stronger than Satyrs to me. I bet they could carry a lot TO a mine shaft"

"If it's underground, it's worth being found." She says with a sage nod.

"I guess they have the best of both worlds - hands for digging and strength to pull a mine cart." Pondering!

"I can pull a mine cart. I bet I could." Feeling one of her arms. "If I had one. But they've gotta be stronger because they're so big."

"And faster... " Catir says "I think they'd make wonderful warriors."

"I suspect Mrs. PHillips already is." Felicty says "Mr. Philips and his daughter might be the magical leaning ones."

She taps her foot thoughtfully. "Captain Siv showed me this really cool hammer-pick thing. If I had one of those, I could fight too, if I needed to."

A glance at Catir. "Did you pop knowing how to fight already? Or did Lady Sparrow have to teach you?"

Catir says "I'm a Gwydion, we're a warrior house. Also I've trained at Earth Runes which has many types of warriors"

"Maybe centaurs are a warrior kith and they'll outbattle you all." A small hidden smile, teasing a bit.

"Every Gwydion thinks they're the greatest warrior ever" Felicty rolls her eyes

"that's not true, Felicity" Catir says matter of factly "I recognize there are many OTHER Gwydions who are better than I" Then a look at Grete's comment "Hurmph."

"Do you think they eat hay and oats?"

"Maybe they have two stomachs, one for normal food and one for horse food." Touching her own belly, and then indicating a vague space behind her where a theoretical centaur-horse-tummy might be located.

Felecity says "that's a good question. I asked Hope. Apparently they're okay with Cheeseburgers and tacos"

"Well, EVERYONE likes cheeseburgers and tacos. Especially when Pepper makes 'em."

"Great. I'm getting hungry now" Catir says, "I do wish they had a childling Centaur. Someone OUR age"

"My parents used to take me to these fancy places for culture immersion, and I'd have to wear a stupid dress and shoes that pinch, and when they bring food it's not even a real meal, but a dozen plates with like, one bite on it each and you're supposed to be good with that." A sigh, shaking her head.

"They give you one bite of chicken and a smudgy swirl on the plate of sauce, and I guess it looks kinda pretty, but all food looks the same once you eat it. Mom didn't like it when I told the waiter that."

Catir actually laughs. Felicity sighs "Oh Grete"

"I'm not WRONG." She grins.

"Well, no I suppose you aren't" Felicity admits

Stu wakes by, there's something on his mouth

"Hey Stu! Did you meet the new guys yet?"

"mmm the Homo Hippotumus Reincarnatus?" He asks "Fascinatting, but in point of fact, I was exploring the Cannis Thermus Chillus lactori" He wipes his lips "The Centaurs will probably kick anyone trying to bite THEM"

"I don't know what you called them, but it sounds kinda rude." She says, uncertainly.

"Nonsense, that's a bidel attitude" he says "And I totally wasn't talking about chilli cheese dogs"

"Pepper is making Chilli Cheese dogs?" Catir says

She sits up. "That sounds good!"

"It's a mystery" the owl pooka wipes the last of the Chili Cheese Dog off his lips and walks off

"To the Chili Cheese dogs!" Catir directs!

She looks over to the girls. "Race ya?" And then takes off without waiting for an answer.

"You're on!" t he Gwydion yells chasing

Felicity winces and chases. It's rough being the brain of the trio of physical types

Grete wins, though that falcon flew fast. Pepper peeks out of the kitchen door to see the trio of girls "Mmm Stu's a blabber mouth" A smile though "Okay, who wants what on their Chilli Cheese dogs?"

She peers around the kitchen, as though expecting to see a centaur in there. "I want chili and cheese on mine." A grin. "Please, Miss Pepper." Added.

"Sure, Grete!" As she prepares "How about you girls?"

"Me too, please" Catir ssays

"Can I have a few less beans on mine?" Felicity asks

"Sure, and I think I can make sure you get less beans though they're good for you" Pepper says "Beans Beans, the magical fruit. the more you eat, the more you toot"

Felicity makes a face. Pepper can be a bit crass for her liking

Grete laughs! "You can be Lady Sparrow's troubador now..."

"Oh no. I came to be a thane and now HOpe has me wielding pans. If I sing near her who knows what will happen" The red headed wilder troll gal says but with humor "Now how about you, Grete" As Grete gets her Dawg just the way she likes it, "Found a new batch of stones?" She's not mocking. Pepper doesn't claim to knnow much about stones, but she's never mocked the girl's interest

"Oh, I did! I've been working on my Christmas coal. I had one that made me think of you, but it's still tumbling. I can show you later, though." A grin to the Chef. "I could have bashed them all out easy, but if I go slow it lasts longer."
