"I'm Rose Philips" Rose says, taking the lead for the family without even realizing she's doing it "This is my husband Rose, and I see you've met Vanessa" She does put the arrow away "You've been looking for us?"

"Well, you were spotted during the fight with the dark ones - thanks for the help, Thallain are monsters, and you probably saved some lives there."

"Centaurs have been missing for centuries, so a centaur sighting was a big deal."

"Any chrysalid is a big deal, really...."

"Like a butterfly, Da." She says, moving to his side. "That's what we are... we became... more."

"It would explain things, the visions, the.. new talents" Ross says

"Wait, we're the only ones?" Rose looks alarmed, "I'm not sure why that bothers me, but it does"

"There's rumors of others - scattered, all from the star."

"I still wonder if I'm going crazy" Ross admits "But it is an amazing kind of crazy. Is there some place we can eat?" An embarrassed look "Charity from a stranger is ... well, it's presumptive,, but we were forraging for food with mixed results"

"Oh! Oh, I am going to be scolded so bad by Hope!"

"Okay, first things first, let's get to the hold. Do you need to grab anything? Can you run as fast as I think you can?"

"Is it safe?" She gives an apologetic glance to Sparrow, but her question is to her mom and dad...

"We'll chance it" Rose says to them "We have an RV but it's not going anywhere, and we can run quite quickly."

"You won't want to be spotted by humans while running - it'll probably slow you down."

"But luckily, we're remote. Okay, follow me!" She crouches.. leaps...

There are baps of wind as her wings work hard to gain altitude!

"I didn't imagine it... she did fly in!" She exclaims. A grin to her parents, and as soon as Sparrow gains height and heads in a discernable direction, she starts that way...

"She just did" Ross admits "Good lord" He moves along "Sorry honey" to his wife as if apologizing.

"No no, I understand" Rose says wryly "She's very very pretty"

And they race. Below SParrow she can see the centaurs RACE faster and faster along the ground, almost keeping up with her.

A laugh, her nervous energy and fear from the earlier scare melting away until the sheer joy of running.

Once up, Sparrow does a lot of gliding - riding the currents.

Oh yes, the Centaurs charge after and they see it, the great tower that is part of the mountain itself

"I've been near here a dozen times and I've NEVER seen it like this before" Ross says

"It's a castle... she's a baroness..." Chatting easily, not even winded from the run.

Sparrow spirals down - are those blue giants bristling to defense?

One old, one younger.. both towering

"Baroness" Redfang says "Are those what I think they are?"

"More giants..." She breaths. Eyes wide as she takes everything in, slowing to a trot, then stopping.

"I recognize him" Rose says looking at Redfang "He fought at the ship"

"Saw you too. Nice shooting" Redfang says

"They are. Three! Three fledges to rescue!"

"Innnncredible" Ross says "Look honey, folks as tall as we are."

"Taller!" She grins, her dad having a good bit of height on her yet.

"These are the Palmers. Ross, Rose and Nessa."

"Oh, Irene! I see you there, could you fetch Clio?"

The silver-haired girl smiles and darts off! And soon there are other curious faces - round-cheeked hobbits and furred and feathered souls and more of the blue giants and elves and a slinky goth type...

A couple steps back, as the crowd grows.

"It's okay, it's okay. They're curious. You are welcome here, you're one of us."

"Philips actually" Rose says

Irene is gaping with wide eyes then "Oh right. yes"

and yes darts off

Clio , a satyress, soon comes out. Her hooves tap and she bows "Baroness, you wanted to.." And she almsot drops her writing things

"Oh, shoot. Sorry! Phillips!"

"Clio! I am figuring that satyr dreams must be cousins to centaurs..."

"Oh! She's.. .kinda like us!"

"I'm a satyress, the scribe here oh my my this is..." She looks them over "They're magnificent, they're returned. Oh Baroness I see why you called for me. Yes, we're both greek dreams"

"And they can run like the wind!"

"Oh, Clarence, I didn't even have time to ask..." Her tone is full of gratitude when the boggan emerges. With snacks!

Rose looks down at the boggan "I.. where did he come from.. pardon, I don't.. wait, how did you know I liked it that way?" She seems a bit spooked by Boggan ESP
