Les has given into his Unseelie side! His honor lost, his passion overcoming his duty, embracing change and exulting in glamour!

To be fair, he's been Unseelie pretty much since his dream dance so... not a shocker.

"How goes the bike?" He pries

"Wellll...."

"Yeah?"

She starts and stops a few times, with a slight flicker of frustration before it resolves - "You wanna see?"

"Sure," He says "Am I in trouble with you if I laugh?" He takes a look.

"Mmm."

She HAS made progress - cleaning and joining the parts she can. But the front and back clearly need some kind of weld to become one.

He looks at it, "Ok, doesn't suck, but it's gonna need a weld. That could be a problem."

She bites on her lip and nods.

"Just about anybody can weld, right?"

"i'd be lying to you if I said just anyone can," He admits, "We've seen what Mom does when she welds what will become solar panels, Dad does some too but it's pro work," He scratches his chin, "Probably more than you can do safely.... good thing you're going to find a way to get help from someone else who isn't Mom or Dad. Got to be someone else who welds, someone you can talk into it with your gift for pestering," He says it in a gentle tone despite the time of the year.

"You met anyone who might have the skills here besides Mom and Dad?" He inquires.

She trills, uncertain.

"I mean, the big blue guys all seem kinda... handy?"

"So maybe one of them?"

"One of them teaches French, not sure how useful he'll be, but .." A scratch of the chin, "Maybe the ugly guy, the Storm might know something?"

"He doesn't look like no snitch, neither."

A nod "I might try him. Heard he was a Rover, which I THOUGHT was a dog, but turns out to be trod guard thing or some such. Means if he doesn't know someone HERE who can do it, he might know someone elsewhere and a trod how to get there."

"Ooo, adventure."

"Yeah, he has to respect you, he walks trods, but you're an Aviatrix, like that Amelia Heartburn lady you like so much."

She stretches her stubby little wings. "Betcha, yeah!"

"The guy drinks beer, I'll get you some beer, you bring it to him as payment for the info, sounds good?" Being under 21 himself, he's not supposed to access beer, but Les has ways around that.

"...And sunflower seeds, maybe?"

"Everybody likes sunflower seeds best."

"I eat em," He says agreeably. Of course, he also eats hubcaps.

"You eat the hulls."

"Those are the best parts," He smirks playing along before glancing at the bike in progress, "Could be worse. Once the Weld is done, you'll be over the hump and rolling around in no time"

She beams. "And the two hens can take that!"

He grins "Gotcha. Okay. I'm gonna go terrorize the neighborhood. Looks like you got a plan. Have fun."

"Oh! Oh, wait wait wait..."

He stops, "What?"

She bounces over to rummage in her pile of supplies, before offering out three plastic bubbles violently neon slime. "Useful?"

(Why does she have slime mixed in with her paint? Where did she get it? These are pooka secrets.)

"Uh... I don't know," He admits looking at it, "Where..." Wait, asking is just going to lead to more confusion, "What did you plan to do with them?"

A shrug and a mellifluous run of cheerful notes.

He smirks at her, "Okay. I think I can terrorize with these. Thanks, Sis."

A bright grin! "Fair's fair!"

He begins to chuckle, "I know just the place to pour this for maximum chaos..." And off he goes. His plans unknown, but at least she has an idea to go seek out this Storm guy, Olgar later! The Bike WILL be completed, her name isn't...
