"Hey, cousin," Siv says to CJ "Guess I'll be taking YOU on ship trips soon"

CJ eyes go bright "I can go to sea?"

Siv delights

"Oh ye'd like that eh? " She looks over "Dagmar, we got a future sailor here"

"Ceej does like boats."

"YUP" He ssays "I got a longboat in my room" meaning a toy

Siv nods "And your longboat is a grandship. If your folks are okay with it you can take it with you when we go for a trip to the sea. It's SO much bigger than the lake"

"How MUCH bigger?" CJ asks

Siv says "Like the difference between your sister and twobit only more so"

"WOW" CJ says then looks at Dagmar "Can I go to sea, sis?"

"You have to ask Mom first."

CJ contemplates this, then nods sagely "I will."

"Oh you are a trolls troll" Siv observes his serious focus , then looks at Dagmar "Your little brother's not even rash" Unspoken 'for his age'

CJ looks at himself "no rashes" A light scratch of himself

"Ceej has always been a steady little guy."

Ceej says "I'm not THAT little"

"She means even before your dream dance, lad, and yes, you'll keep growing... that's why the Code of Dagda is so important" Siv assures him "Because we must use our tall and strong responsibly"

"Like mom and dad and sis!" CJ nods

"Yup. You've got great role models" Siv says

From the kitchen "Acutally Olgar will be teaching him "

"Every damn troll in Bergen will be teaching him."

"Inevitable, really."

Tove says "Likely, but I mean officially" She dcomes in "The Chief has assigned the Storm to do the formal stuff. " She admits "I wonder if I should be offended?"

"Don't be," Siv assures her Aunt "Storm Olgar's a good teacher in his way, and I had other teachers besides ma and da more than once in the Dreaming when I was his age. Auntie Clem for one"

"I mean, this way you still get to be Mom and Dad first?"

"YUP!" CJ says and gives his mom a hug "Need my mom"

Tove melts, and picks him up "Thank you, that's gratifying to hear" She pauses "And, Olgar IS good with new fledges. He even helped your sis some when she was new"

"That's an understatement."

Siv nods and looks at Dagmar "remember him grumbling about the Seelie mob?" A wink though

"Sadly, I let him down."

"He's used to it" Siv chuckles "And he's got everyone's back anyway"

"I tried?"

"It doesn't stick for long."

Tove mmphs ("I'd be happy CJ goes Seelie too thank you")

"Me neither" Siv says "And I drive Piper and Jonas nuts without sloppy I get"

"Jaymes still wanted me, even when I was unseelie and angry."

"Oh your father understands rage" Tove says "He's been through a lot more than he says. He took me despite MY anger too. I was very furious with Thule"

"Helps that you're a smoking hot fox, Aunt Tove" Siv adds

Tove chuckles "Thank you, Siv"

CJ looks at Dagmar "You used to be mad? Why?"

"I am not commenting on how "hot" my mom is, Siv."

She huffs a sigh. "I was lonely and scared and hurting, kiddo. I'm not any of those things these days."

CJ taps his mom, who lets him down, then he walks over to his sister and hugs HER again "There there. There there"

A grin, and she scoops him up in a bear hug. "See? Not lonely at all."

Siv whispers "SO adorable"

CJ grins as he's picked up "Not even a smidge!"

And hugs her back with a bear cub hug!

"Nope!"

"Mom, can we have ice cream? That always help fight the lonlies" The boy says sagely

"Does it?" Tove looks amused
