Lucia is talking to her new apartment mate, Rowan. How this happened to them, Rowan isn't sure. They remember a conversation with the raven winged boggan, and the next thing they knew there was talk of prices being easier shared and ...bam.

It's not the first time Rowan's sort of gone with the flow of a situation, and there's not really a good argument for not sharing the space at the moment. Still...this is...new.

They look around as Lucia gives the nickel tour.

"So both have windows, thank goodness, one is a bit smaller. One is like... five feet closer to the bathroom ,and the other is five feet closer to the hall door."

The bathroom, Thank any god or goddess you care to name, is a two sinker! Rare in apartments and possibly one reason this was chosen

"Don't think that really matters, either way."

But that bathroom really is pretty nice.

"You're probably more choosy, I'm thinking. I honestly don't have a preference, so go ahead and pick which one you like better."

'Well, I think with big ass non flying flappers, it might be better if I took the one near the hallway so I don't block you off too much by accident" They're not THAT big, it's just on a boggan who is short they look it

A dismissive noise. "Look, seriously...the wings aren't an issue. Don't make the choice based on me...which one do you want?"

"I'll take the hall," She blushes "Let's face it, if I don't get my gossip fix from other complex dwellers talking in the hallway here I'm gonna get the shakes. " A grin "Speaking of which, how's working at King's Convience part time working for you? I don't mean the money, I mean did you get the shift you wanted?"

"Mostly," accompanied with a shrug. "Have to take some morning hours on the weekends, but that's not brutal." Before Lucia can change her mind, Rowan grabs their duffel from where it sits near the entry and lugs it into the non-hall bedroom. "There, perfect."

"Anything I should know about your schedule? Like, times you need the bathroom in order to stay on schedule or stuff?"

"Well, my parents slammed me hard, but believe it or not, the Count makes sure all holds get a stipend for emmisaries and such. Not much, but enough that I don't have to go full time. I suppose I need a regular one, but right now I'm doing odd jobs for the super here. Halls still need to be swept or vaccumed, that kind of thing."

"Sounds pretty flexible. So...if I hog the bathroom for, like, forty-five minutes, that's not a problem? Or you want me to warn you first?"

She ponders this

"Well, I'm pretty sure Piper, Siv and Jonas will let me borrow theirs if there's some SUDDEN emergency so I should be good. Prep time is important if you wanna dazzle. These wings need to be tended now and then but that's more once a month. "

"Huh." A considering look at the wings. "You got some kind of special conditioner or something for that?"

"Oh yeah" She nods "it's teatree oil blend " And she pulls it out "Some times I mix it with a touch of lavender and.. oh, wwait, are you allergic to anything?"

"I'll let you know if I start getting itchy, but I think we're clear."

"Fantastic, now, about food... we're celebrating, I'm ordering... you want Thai, Mexican, or Chinese? ANYTHING but Italian right now, please"

And the two sort out what to have brought in

"The Thai here is nowhere near as good as in Baltimore, but it's good enough. Order away."

"Thai it is!" Making a note that even 'good enough thai' seems to be a favorite of her new roomie
