Ylva tends to the horses.

"Hey, Bucky. You're warming up a bit right?" He is, some. She knows. "It's okay, Star hardly bites at you anymore"

"Dame Dagmar will be going away soon for a bit, Star with her, but I'll take care of the rest of you, you bet." She assures "I owe her. She taught me about how to care for you."

After feeding him, and brushing, she moves to Lady O.

Star got fed and brushed first, but Lady O doesn't mind going last. She's so darn nice

Ylva is Lady O's favorite. Shhh.

Lady O lets Ylva hug her neck, so the reverse is also true

"Later we'll go for a ride, Lady O. Don't you worry. I just have to be sure I'm done with my other chores."

She's learned to love riding. It feels peaceful somehow, to move at the lazy slow walk, and so exciting to turn that that into a true gallop. Of course, she got fussed at for running the horse too fast on the icy road. When Ylva had it pointed out it could hurt the horse if she didn't match the terrain with the horsemanship, the poor childling felt guilty for hours, but she apologized to Lady O and learned her lesson.

Though at least one of the horses seems to like kicking up the snow.

And this surprises Ylva greatly. "Dame Dagmar? Are you nearby? Come watch!"

For while she had just dealt with Avenger/ Bucky, she didn't expect him to, once free of saddle and gear, to .. PLAY

Bucky races through the snow of the large area, kicking up the snow, and making it spray! Not accidentally, playfully!

Ylva wants to call out again, to tell others to come see. She looks at Lady O, "You see this?"

Lady O makes amused sounds. Yes, she sees it.

"I was thinking the same thing," Ylva tells Lady O. "I bet snow wwas one of the few times his last owner didn't want to ride, so it was the only time he could play without being fussed at or dictumed. I.. oh heck , SNOW WE GOT"

Ylva is doing a lot of guesswork here. She's presuming, a LOT.
