She casts a desperate look at Symon, adrift.

Lovecraft hisses from under the couch. "Take him, ssssssstupid."

Whichever of the two she was talking to, Symon gently takes Odin from Dagmar's hands, and sets the kitten there in his place.

When she looks down at him, she sees - well, eyes are the window to the soul, and she sees Odin there. Even though THIS kitten has both eyes still.

Mine the little kitten seems to say, now where he belongs

The tiny thing fits in just one hand. Absurd.

Symon murmurs to Tove, and with hands that are uncharacteristically gentle, wraps the old shell in one of Dagmar's jerseys.

Dagmar cautiously scritches at the one spot on the side of the kitten's jaw, Odin's favorite.

PURRR... still the favorite spot

Odin leans into the skritch

Damn, this is so weird. But he's back, another life, from the beginning!

Lovecraft does hiss a reminder to him from her spot under the couch. "Remember. no rrrrrrrrrrrrocks!"

"I... I guess we'll have to get some kitten food?"

"I'll go out now" Tove offers, setting the dish of rotted food she got for Symon down

The kitten seems to sniff disdainfully at 'rocks

Brown Dog barks happily. Everyone is together. He loves this!

Dagmar plunks down on the couch, absurdly tiny kitten curled up on her chest, purring as she pets him.

What a day!

Odin looks smug

and.. incrediblyh happy. He's here in HIS heaven. The rainbow bridge can wait

Jaymes scratches his chin "I suppose we could use one of Odins' other names if yhou like? Gangleri? Oski?"

"I'll figure it out."

Mmmph He nods agreeing "I'll get YOu some food too" And he kisses her on the top of her head, and goes to do just that

Suddenly a singing stone seems a minor element right now

If the not-longer a teenager dozes off on the couch, well, who can blame her?

And a kitten falls asleep with her. As it should be.

And Brown Dog curls up nearby. Same old Brown Dog. I mean, whoever heard of a Fae hound mutt?
