THe apartments are rather nice, a bit out of the way but it looks like public transport comes here now and then...

Rowan surveys them, and can notice a few things... like the pool in the back is somehow still open despite it being october in Jersey

Rowan definitely notes that. That's a nice perk. Then they head inside and look for the property manager's office.

The Super's office isn't hard to find

Taps out shave-and-a-haircut on the door.

The door opens and a kinain , enchanted opens the door. "Hello. I'm mister dyers, how can I help you?" He looks to be middle aged and welcoming

"Hey." Extends a hand. "Rowan. They/them. Are you the person I speak to about looking at an apartment?"

"Oh yes, I run the place on behalf of the owner... another troll eh? They sure have a lot of them here" he shakes the hand and doesn't blink at the rare pronoun usage, "And happy to show you around"

"Thanks. Saw the pool. Anybody ever ask questions about that? I mean, anybody who shouldn't, y'know?"

"Oh most folks here are kinain or kithain and they know better than to squeal" he says and motions her to follow "Now to be honest with you, that's the tenants doing more than mine. I clean it and all but they use pyretics and such to keep it warm"

"Sweet." An appreciative nod as they follow along.

"You came recommended by Tig, incidentally." Not sure if dropping the name is going to be helpful.

"Tig's a good man. Patrols nearby. Now, unofficially My little angel, Rikki, she keeps an eye out if folks nose around. Oh such a good girl" a happy proud dad smile "Now, the rooms come in three main sizes and that affects the rates... the smallest room has a half bath and shower , a kitchenette counter, a bedroom... but the next levels aren't unreasonable " and he relates what it goes to size wise though the largest ones only have one left

"Don't need much. Lemme see the small one."

"Fair, we might have to get a taller bed , you may not believe this, but you trolls are on the long limbed side" A chuckle as he 'dad humors' a bit

"You don't say." A wry grin, playing along.
