He moves nimbly, easily staying out of the way of her strike, knowing precisely the length of her reach and arc of her thrust.

Her strike hits true, but the tip of flyswatter gets caught in a link of chain, and as the creature shrieks in defiance and tries to break free, her halberd is wrested from her hands and flies across the room to embed into the wall!

The chains are damaged, dangling, but still intact, and now Dagmar is weaponless.

Symon hisses, but then suddenly he lights up. A hand presses against Dagmar's arm. "The chains. Like before!"

A wince as Flyswatter is torn from her hands, biting off a cry. She grimaces, but nods, at Symon's words.

Sylvi runs over to the halberd to yank it out of the wall and get it back to her.

She grabs the chains with both hands, jaw set.

Symon places his hands on top of hers, even as the skeletal wings buffet at them both. "One... two..."

PULL!

Her muscles bulge.

She plants her feet, and her armor practically creaks as she strains against them.

Sylvi yanks at the halberd's haft, but it's more firmly planted in the wall than she expected, and she briefly loses her balance.

Meanwhile, Sylvi is trying to haul the halberd from the wall... she slips, and it comes free, and the weapon goes spinning through the air!

The creature SHRIEKS and it's head darts in to try to bite Dagmar's head off...

only to have a FLYING HALBERD suddenly plant itself across it's skull!

The chains SHATTER!

Sylvi misses this entirely as she's regaining her balance...except that she hears the crunch.

She turns...and breathes a sigh of relief.

Bits of chain go flying, only to melt away into smoke and dissipate before they hit anything. The beak opens, and with a sound like air escaping a hissing kettle and a death rattle, it starts to fall apart, dissolving into smoke.

Flyswatter falls free, and Symon reaches - and actually manages to neatly catch it, though the weight drags his arms down a bit.

Sylvi steps closer to see...what happened to the heart?

Dag reaches for Flyswatter, lest Symon tip over from the weight of the halberd. She flashes him a small smile.
