"I know what I am." He replies. "I am small, and scrawny, and slimy, and I smell... unpleasant. I am not fair to look upon. Some sluagh break the mold and are pleasant, admired? ME, I am the mold, in a fungusy sort of way."

"But.. can we not talk about her now? I know... I have some explaining to do.. but can we talk about... us?" The word, whispered, almost as if it was forbidden to say.

A weak laugh. "We can, yeah. I have no idea what I'm doing, okay?"

Inconveniently, Dagmar's phone makes the noise it makes when Sylvi texts.

A grunt. "Sylvi has timing."

When Dagmar gets around to looking at it, she'll see: 🐈‍⬛ is on board. We need to plan next steps.

She looks down at the sleeping sluagh collapsed against her side. And texts back - one arm still wrapped around Symon.

After a pause: Broken what?

"Will have to tell Chief, I know"
