Lupe calls out mock teasing "Seen you throw farther, King. You getting soft?"

May snorts "Careful or she'll throw YOU" May now sends scripts and fan fiction and stuff regularly, and some of the fan fic is really good

"But look at her form!"

"It's poetry." SIGH

"It IS good form" Massey says "I don't sports much but I do dance, and that's good form"

"Music, even! The Greeks were on to something."

"Go greeks" A smile from the satyress

Lupe says "I do like the foot work there"

" Hurdles are the devil."

"I hear that" May agrees

"You two at least have height, hurdles for normal sized folks, no bueno" Says the shorter Lupe

"Normal is more than three apples high, Lupe."

Lupe gives a good natured middle finger ., then goes back to watching "Okay, who is she? She's looking hungry"

Indeed, one girl is showing good form, and an eagerness to excell.

It is hard not to cheer her on the more you learn about her. Massey says "Is that what they mean by the eye of the tiger?"

"Kind of," Lupe agrees

"She was a dancer before she took up discus!"

"That would explain the form" Massey says "Got a girl crush building" She says with a bit of a blush, but even more of a grin.

"No shame in that," Lupe says "But does she have the oomph in the arms?"

"Disc is more finesse than yeet. That's why they're so much smaller than the shot putters."

Dagmar's statement proves to be prophetic, this lady has finese to spare.

"Definitely a crush" Massey says "Can you do that, Sam?"

"Sam can do anything" May says loyally.

"I can do discus okay enough."

"So you trying for the Olympics?" Massey asks

"SHe SHOULD" Lupe ssmiles

She sticks her tongue out.

Lupe smirks "See her talking her way out of it?"

"By Sam standards" May agrees, "All chatty there"

Massey chuckles "I can tell you guys are friends"

"Best friends, yeah."

"From way back" Lupe admits "Man I had to fight to get May and her out of their shells. EXHAUSTING"

May faux grumbles "I resent she's kinda right"

"I benefit highly from being adopted by extroverts."

"Your dad is an extrovert?" Massey looks dubious

"Compared to Sam, they are" Lupe nods

"Tove."

"Your mom is amazing" Massey says

"Yeah, she is." Content and happy.

"Hey, remember the time your mom made SPICY Popcorn?"

And the conversatation turns to good memories of sharp surprises
