At the Ironhawk Household, a long haired Satyress is saying "If you think she won't mind?" Massey likes Tove, heck, she's a bit of a fan.

"Of course not" Tove smiles "You're here, after all"

CJ looks at her as she enters, SO MUCH HAIR

She looks down "He's getting so BIG. Hey little man" She bends down offering a lift "You want up?"

He nods and allows himself to picked up

"oof," she says playfully

Dagmar might at this moment come down stairs or from outside.

Dag tromps into the kitchen, because who uses the front door? She's covered in a sheen of sweat and spattered with grass shavings from working in the yard.

"You need to shower before we have dinner with our guest" Her mom smiles

"I swear, just looking at you makes me feel lazy" Masey admits

"Gah! Masey!" She jostles, eyes wide.

"Uh.... hi?"

"hi. " Masey smiles "I know how busy track had you during the week and then I thought, maybe the weekend, but then I remembered how you were likely going home, and I thought I can't keep her from her FOLKS ...so I texted your mom and asked if I could have a visit with you here. You know, to hang out. She said yes"

"Sissy!" CJ wants a hug, sweat and grass covered sister or not

"Seeeeej." The smallest of the Kings is scooped up into a hug.

"Um. We can hang out, sure."

"Fantastic!" Masey says

"SAAAAAAM " CJ laughs and gives a sqeeze

"Yeah, Sprout?"

"You're sticky" he observes with trollish candor.

"And now so are you," Tove tuts.

"Yup." She gives him a kiss on the top of his head. "Gonna shower."

"Okay" CJ grins, then looks at Masey "Sam's here! Best Sis EVER!"

"I believe it" Massey laughs with dellight at the boy

Tove wipes her son's up a bit "Your father is running a bit late, but soon"

She sets her brother down. "I'll be quick. Sorry, I'm totally gross, I know."

Massey says "Hey, honest work is no shame."

"Well, still."

"Okay, be right back." She escapes upstairs!

She showers, of course, and when she gets out... fresh dry and redresssed, she finds Masey up the stairs "Hey, was my surprise an unpleasant one?"

"No?" Toweling off her hair. "Just... surprising, yes."

"Well, You know you got busy, we couldn't find a time, but you.. you seemed to want to talk to me.." She hedges "Maybe more. And I knew i wanted to see you again so .. I figured, why not go for it, right?" Then with an easy sjmile "And don't worry, we're at your house. I get nothing is likely to happen here... I keep my word. " Indeed, they have taken comfort in each other, but she doesn't kiss and tell.

"I... yeah, sure."

"Geez, is it me or is your brother so much bigger from the last time I was here, and so cute."

"He is both taller and more cute, yes."

"Yes. He's gonna be breaking hearts all too soon " She assures with a smile "Shall we head down stairs and see if your dad is in?"

"Okay." A touch shy, but agreeable.

They go down...

and there is Jaymes. He looks.. tired. But his eyes pick up a bit to see his daughter "Sorry I'm late" He tells her , then adds "Hello, Masey."

A brief twitch downwards at the corners of her mouth. ("You okay?")

A reassuring nod ("Tough day at work is all. Come on down before the satyr thinks we're frozen in place") An attempt at umor

"Hello Sir" Masey says a bit confused by the 'pause' in the covo but being polite

"What's everyone want to drink?"

"Oh water is fine," Masey says "Or Dr. Pepper. Either"

"We've got both" Tove chuckles.

CJ says "Sunny D" he waves his glass

The meal smells of spices

A medley of veggies and meats, and three types of cheese drizzzle

Dag gets everyone's drinks before joining in at the table. "Soooo. Masey. Summer plans?"
