A blink at Siv, "C'mon, spill it!"

and she shows Piper the wiki page she has found... The Skipper is the title and nickname of Jonas Grumby, a fictional character from the 1960s situation comedy Gilligan's Island. Played by Alan Hale Jr., the Skipper (the character's actual name was rarely mentioned after the show's pilot episode) was the owner and captain of the S. S. Minnow on its "three-hour tour" from Hawaii when he, first mate Gilligan (portrayed by Bob Denver), and their tourist passengers were caught in a violent storm and stranded on a deserted island.

Piper blinks, and blinks again, then cackles in laughter!

"I'm serious" Jonas says seriously in a serious tone, that is, quite serious.

Which makes this all the funnier

Siv breaks out too

Piper practically wheezes in laughter

Jonas hurumphs and takes the phone "Whatever it is it can't be that..." He reads it, and sighs "Christ on a crutch"

Okay, Siv's laughter increases at that

Finally, Jonas says "We are NOT.. naming a child Grumby. It's just cruel"

Whoops of laughter, tears from her eyes.

Siv maybe burying her head into Piper's shoulder trying not to snort!

She has just about gotten back under control, when she sputters, "Grumby!" And collapses into giggles once more.

"This one won't die for awhile" Jonas resigns himself

Finally Piper regains composure. "You are brave and sure, though. Though, what came to mind earlier... any idea as to godparents?"

"OH so many" Siv admits "Aunt Kerri would be a great god mother, but I also wondered if we shouldn't get someone closer to our own generation for that role if they'd have it? "

"I was thinking, maybe... Zane? Now I'm partial, he's family..." She considers, "And we can have 4 godparents, you know, the twins don't need to share.."

"They might even appreciate each having their own set" A nod from Jonas "Twins often struggle with their own boundaries"

"Well, that's great actually" Siv nods "if they want the job. Any idea who you would want to be a god parent for one of them, Piper?"

"Zane... Vali... Rikki?" She ventures, only half in jest?

"Zane works" Both Jonas and Siv leap on that "I mean you mentioned him before" Siv adds "I blanked is all"

"Yes. Zane's good" Jonas says "or Vali"

One might notice one of the trio being... not embraced

"Come now... sure, she's a pooka, and falls prey to that nature - or embraces it rather more vigorously than might be called for at times, but she's got a good heart."

A sigh "I suppose if we don't invite her, she'll show up to curse us or something" Siv mutters

Now it's Jonas turn to smirk, then he says "It is possible that an Unseelie member of the four would provide some.. balance"

"Vali and Rikki for one, Kerri and Zane for the other? A troll for each? At least, we can ask, one or another may say no. It's an honor, but also a responsibility, after all..."

"True, and we must not be insulted if they decline" Jonas says

"Oh sure if they don't know quality kids, forget em" Siv adds

"Sure enough! Next question... they said that when they run the genetic screening - " Piper schools herself not to sound worried at that, with partial success, "They can tell us the genders. Would you want to know, or rather be surprised?"

"ooo that's a tough one" Siv says
