"WE owe you" Olgar corrects "The lodge repays it's debts, Klump. You think of anything, let us know"

"I will let you know" Klump says then shrugs" But I want for little. I am sorry so many were hurt before this. I did not know he was THAT ravenous"

"You can't know everything, but you thought to show me the threat."

"ANd now, he won't hurt anyone else."

"WHich is damned important" Olgar nods "Oh my ass"

"You did not fall THAT hard, Olgar of Rovers" Klump says

"it's not the fall, it's that horse... I barely know how to ride and she didn't really care if I suffered or not as long as I got here" Olgar looks over at Star

Star looks smugly unrepentant.

"I asked her to get you, and she got you. Didn't exactly have time to be nice, did we?"

"If you were any slower, he might have made true on his fourth. Hmph."

"Uh huh... all I know is I need lotion now and I'm WALKING home" Olgar grumbles

"We can put the kids on Star to get them to the lodge."

"I'll carry the childling but yeah, the wilders" He loops the pooka wilder over Star's back

Audrey is placed beside her twin.

"Okay. Fire might revive them enough to get food in them..."

"Vali might have thoughts?"

"His winter magics are useful, but normally what we do is gentle healing liquids, like the cookies but with gruel" Olgar explains as they go towards the lodge

"My primal isn't there yet."

"Sylvi's visiting the Farm, but her water trick would be useful right now."

"She is? mmm... may have to call on Jack Flap. Kid prefers plants to people but his spring is coming along. Like you said though, if need be, Vali can put them on ice"

"Jack's a good kid."

"Would it scare him to see them?"

"Mmm fair concern ... oh wait, his mom, she knwos some and has herbs as well... "

"True."

"I'd rather protect the kiddo."

"I'll give her a call" He assures "And maybe we can figure out who this childling is? Kenning says he's a changeling. I hate when banality sinks in anyone but it always feels worse with childlings. You know?"

"Oh yeah." She tries kenning the child, just in case.

"What if we flat out missed a chrysalis?"

"Not as likely, those things light up a place for quite a distance, but it's possible. Let's hope he's sained and stuff already"

"Man, what about Audrey and Nolan's family? They must be going nuts. Are their parents kin? In the know?"

"It's handled there... " He says as they walk for a time, finally closing on the lodge "Dagmar, I know this is grim and ugly, but it would have been much worse without Klump telling you, without you getting some back up, and some amazing moves on your part. Ace Primal work by the way"

"I'm very glad Klump told me, yeah."

"Some chimera just don't have redeeming qualities."

"Truer words, Dags, truer words" He agrees "Dreaming sometimes creates things that are 100 % a .. well, you know" He says "Okay. I'll put these guys some place safe and get them help. Good work"

And they help the three to safe rest by the fire and Vali gets to work on his side while Jack's mom is called to help

And Star? Well, as the hero of this story, she will relate to Stormwake her adventures, and how helpful her side kick rider Dagmar was! Truly the best of all two leggers
