Yoel looks... heartbroken, hurt, and... then says"Oh those grapes looked sour anyway" Stiffening he bows, and backs away

A brow. "He is not of Rivervale, Your Highness. Unless you will it to be so."

"Then I will it to be so" She says "Or at least permitted to stay there. He can help undo the harm HE caused if he and you wish it"

"That's our boon? A fish guy?" DIrk snorts

Brekke doesn't seem to be any happier about it than Dirk is. "Yes, Your Highness."

She turns to Hemlock and bows. "My Liege."

"My baroness, and oldest dearest friend" The Count bows just a bit "I'll make sure the next time you want to see me, they get the coffee on and shove you right to me"

Siv has put a gentler hand on Yoel's shoulder. Perhaps it's a Fiona thing.

A nod. "Thank you." The sting isn't gone yet, but he has mollified her somewhat.

A look to the others, and then she turns to lead them out.

Dagmar folds her arms again. She's not the leader here, she knows to keep her yap shut.

Hopefully the wounded in the hallway have been tended in the interim.

And out the Rivervale head. The wounded in the hallway are healed and on duty. The troll with the staff sees them, but thre is no fight this time.

Rather, weapons are drawn in SALUTE

A sober nod in return....but she feels foolish that it was all for a lie.

"Hail to RIvervale, hail to the shield of Bergen" The staff wielding troll says

"Hail to Rivervale" THey echo

Siv strides near her mother and can be heard "You're Godsdamned right"

"Red Branch, you serve stoutly," Brekke responds. It is all she can muster.

Oh, she's not pleased by a lot of things.... but there's a nugget of pride as they pass the Red Branch.

Rivervale departs Caer Falken. Hopefully the rest of the staff can be talked out of thinking that the Chieftain has gone rogue.

And out they go... back to Rivervale. The battle's done, and they kind of won, so they sound their victory cheer (But tell me) where will they go from here?
