Piper puzzles for a moment. "What did he look like, do you remember?"

"Well, he wasn't a DeBuke or I'd have recognized him. He was a troll though. He had the classic blue complexion but a lot of it did look tanned, as if he was used to being out and about? Not a farmer's tan though. I would know that. I didn't get a close enough look to count brow ridges. I think he was wearing a... what's that white old timy shirt you sometimes see in tropical lands?"

A blink at that. "No clue. Sylvi's the one who knows fashion... not a DeBuke? That narrows it way down..."

"She's got us there" SPencer jokes

Dagmar can tell that the guys are still surprised at the bluntness, but some of them seem to be ..calculating, thinking what this MEANS over

"Poet's shirt" Jimmy offers helpfully "Ah.. uhm... " He clearly is tempted to ask something.

Dagmar tries to think of likely trolls?

Jonas would be the most likely, but he was on a quest in the dreaming far far away. Hastien was in Brightwind. Most Debukes who aren't here were having Beltaine at home. Dark gate?

"Oh.... Colton wasn't here - was he?" Even though they broke up, NOT COOL...

A worried glance to Dagmar as they both come to the same thought!

"Jonas wears sailors shirt's sometimes.. but he's the only one we KNOW wasn't here. He's been on a quest." An aside to Dagmar, quieter, "Kinda why I was drinking so much... not really happy about him being gone so long." A miserable expression.

A pause.

"Are we sure he wasn't there?"

"I know Dark gate sent someone" Jordan says "Remember? In the morning there was that flower made of steel? With a well wish note?"

Jimmy squirms then says "Ah, so... uhm"

Piper nods. "Jonas is deep in the dreaming. Even if he knew how to Flickerflash... if he was back, we'd KNOW by now."

"Yeah, Jonas does that metawhatzit shape changing stuff, not the 'poof laketown' Gerd shit" Dirk recalls

"But we don't know."

"Jonas isn't that good at Dream craft either" Jordan snorts "Heck, I'm way more advanced there"

"We are assuming he wasn't, because we don't remember seeing him. But we also don't know where he was, on Beltaine." Plodding through the thought.

"Why would he come back, and then hide from us?" Her eyes filling again. "We had an argument, but it wasn't THAT bad..."

"Is he hiding, or does he just not know?"

"He LIVES with us, Dagmar! That would be like.. like... if Olgar came back from a quest, and Kerri didn't know a month later!"

"If he knew, he'd be here, right?" Jimmy says, fidgeting

"Unless he didn't want to be..." A glance at Jimmy, and she looks... lost.

Jimmy can't take it, "That's ridiculous, if Jonas knew you were pregnant he'd be here"

"Or it was someone else." She clings to that.

Ope, there it is. Out in the open!

And there's a record scratch sound through out the freehold

Dirk blinks "Hold on? You're knocked up?"

"If Jonas came back for the holiday to see people he loves, and then went back to his quest... I mean, what if he thinks you know he was there, and everything is fine?"

"There was booze and music and the Gift, yeah?"

"So much Booze" Linwood says trying not to gape at his friend, Piper but not sure how to comfort her

"Criminy, and I've been traveling the bar circuit, drinking all month.." She looks a bit sick at the revelation of that too.

"You didn't know."

Lyron says "Hey, spend a night or two by the fire. It heals all that is enchjanted, that includes the.. well, the baby. So if you did any harm , it SHOULD be undone. See, I dated a girl who had the same concern. She spent at least two nights at the balefire every other week and the kid was okay"

Jordan ponders "I didn't think Jonas is that good at trod travel, Dagmar, to just pop in and pop out, but... it's possible I guess?" Dubious

"Look, it better not be colton, because if we go to war with Darkgate for doing this to PIper, we're goning to lose" Jimmy observes

"That's if Sylvi didn't kill me first. That's not cool, even if they did break up..."

"Colton is dating Kelby" Ives says "She's kill him first"

"I need Siv... she needs to... well, I need her." Texting her girlfriend.

THe door opens and Siv breaks in even as the text is sent, whatever it is

She eyes the suspects with dangerous eyes "Gentlemen. " Then moves to Piper "You okay? Which one is it? Were they rude? " Troll face ("Siv Smash?")

A jump as the door opens!

Dagmar has a grumpy face, but it could be her thinking one - brow furrowed.

"Where was Gerd?"

She buries her face in Siv's chest. Mumbling, incoherant.
