"SOMEONE needs to watch Inside Out." He observes.

"Have you tried being mad with your eyes and not your fists?" He tries to give her an example of a real whopper of a stinkeye, but Connor is just bad at it.

"I don't know how to do that. When I get mad... I mostly cry." He says, honestly. "I don't mean to, but I get frustrated."

jodie says " One time I got so angry I jumped a girl from behind. She was talking about my dad. She didn't stop talking mean about him when I glared. I told her to shut up. She wouldn't. Then.. I lost it. So they put me on meds. Cause the shirnk told my dad I might be on a pipeline to jail. Dad would rather die than have me taken away. I don't know why I'm.. .Im not that good a kid" her voice cracks just a sec

Connor's eyes go wide, and he has to resist an urge to give the poor girl a hug. Nope, not happening, he's hugging her.

"What are you doing?" the girl freezes up at this "What.. what is this?"

He whispers in her ear, "Sometimes, you need friends to help you out. It's okay to get mad. And sometimes, you don't have to be good... you just have to not get caught."

Frank probably would not appreciate that bit of advice, but... that's what whispers are for! Lilly has had an influence on him, mmm, yes.

"Okay" Dully, for a moment he thought he got to her, that she could get that gray off, but...

He chews on his lip, thinking. "Hey, did you ever get to beat up a target dummy?"

"It's like, what knights use to charge at with lances when they're not actually trying to poke a real dragon in the heiney. Or when they are practicing playing swords."

"My shirnk says make believe over violent fantasies is regressive"

"Whatever THAT means" A grumble

"Well, it sounds like your Shrink is a shrinky-dink." He looks around for any good 'sword' sticks.

He does find one that fits his palm

And, he looks around for something that maybe could be hit without causing damage. Perhaps a parking bollard or something concrete...

There's a street light made of metal

"What are you doing?" Jodie asks, but she gathers another stick

Frank keeps his distance but also watches

"Avast! Tis yonder long-neck Steel Dragon! See how it stretches high, high into the sky and peers down, thinking it may judge us? I SAY THEE, NAY!" He darts forward, and gives the lightpost a good THWACK!

Jodie... looks at the streetlight, and then THwhacks as well, much harder

it klangs nicely!

"How dare you say mean things about Mister Notta Grouch?" BONK!

"Leave my Dad alone" She whams it "Stupid dragon"

“Yar! Yeet! POW!” He applies sound effects!

SHe whams again, more energy . Maybe those pills are wearing off?

“What do we say to the god of Rudeness?”

"Jerks! SNobs! " WHAM WHAM

“Want a snack?” He says, taking a rest. “I brought my Aunt Kerri’s apply-scrumbles.”

"I am kind of hungry" She nods

Frank sees more than drug induced banality lift, he is sure there is a changeling soul in the girl

"Mm." He isn't really surprised; he'd suspected this. In fact, he'd put $5 down on what kith, but there's no one to bet with. Still, as history teaches, if she's not ready there's no point in feeding her Glamour. Yet. Wait till the drug wears off completely.

Mmm six hours have passed but the doctor indicated she might need longer

He's got time. Even if they need to wait for morning, the next school day... that's ok.

Of course, she may be heading home to get her next dose

After this. Fortunately Connor did replace the dose at the school

But she seems to be acting more like a normal girl period.

Frank is content to observe and choose his time. Of course she'll need to be awakened but... no point in rushing it.
