Frank watches as school dismisses.

Kids filter out.... most heading towards yellow busses. A few heading towards their folks who are picking up

"Help me keep an eye out for Jodee, ok Connor? We don't want anyone to really see us, though. So... let's keep it quiet."

"Aye aye!" He says, then repeats in a whisper, "aye aye."

"Good man." Frank says, watching the kids.

A big girl for her age trundles out towards one of the buses. Jodie scowls at the world around her with some apathy

Frank can see Connor's ears perk up!

"That's her, right?" Frank asks to confirm.

"I think it's her evil twin." He confirms.

She continues onto the bus

Frank doesn't seem inclined to get out and approach; he seems ready to follow the bus until Jodi disembarks.

OOC Food.

Connor sings softly to himself. "This is the way we chase the bus, chase the bus, chase the bus..."

"Yep. No sense in jumping in blind on this."

"I never do that." Solemn!

They follow the bus discretely, don't want to look like a stalker

various kids are dropped off, here and there...

and then finally, they come to one street and Jodie and three others are left off. Other kids give Jodie a wide berth , as the big girl grumbles towards a griege colored house

Yes indeed, Frank hangs back and drives past Jodie's house. He turns around and parks down the block, but facing it. He observes for a few minutes.

"She's gonna get awaaaaaay."

Then, he perks up, and suggests, "Oh, Mister-or-Missus-Whusname, Can Jodie come out to play-ay-ay?"

She heads towards the door of a house and opens it, a figure appears, a man with a shaved head and what looks to be a broken nose that never set right

He smiles and motions her in

"Mm." Frank comments to himself.

"Mm?" Connor asks.

"Well. Don't like to judge a book by its cover."

Was the smile a happy smile? A friendly smile? An ominous serial killer smile?

Connor is no boggan, but he has boggan friends, and a canine like gift for reading fang bearing. It seemed a warm and fond smile on face that doesn't give many smiles

Connor smiles too. "I like Olgar." He comments, apropos of nothing.

Frank reads more, a look of gentle concern

"Mm. Ok. I don't think we need to be too worried about her home life." he glances at Connor for his assessment.

Connor nods. "I can go say hi? Maybe she wants to play at the park."

"Suppose you can ask." Frank agrees. "Want me to come with you?"

"Everyone is welcome at Shadowpaw park..."

"Ok. Let's walk down." And off they go.

(Frank carefully leaves the pocket of pills in the car)

They approach the door. The house is ugly, the yard small but well maintained

Connor trots up and knocks on the door, shave and a haircut!
