"No connor" the teacher says "It's Science, not magic. Ever magnet has what they call a magnetic field. Now magnets have two forces, push and pull..." She takes a deep breath and goes back to her chalkboard

She stops "I'm sorry, a what?"

"What a wierdo" One whispers "Yeah, Connor's a spaz"

"They have no tail, and are, oh, some of the rarest of beasts, because no one can sneak up on them."

He starts to elaborate, but then trails off...

He looks down at his desk and fiddles with a colorful eraser-end for his pencil.

The teacher says "Okay, you need to save story time for recess. Okay? Let's focus on magnets"

Lily's eyes narrow to slits, and she looks at the girls.

But says nothing for now

Otto however has Connor's back and whispers "Are they Carnivorous?"

Connor starts discretely drawing on the corner of his desk.

He perks up a little. "I don't know, but I think they eat whatever goats eat?"

"I have never met one."

Otto looks fascinated, "We should find one" A bit too loud

The teacher turns around to see the same problem children together talking and sighs Why is it always the boys? "Connor, please move seats for the remainder of the school day. You can go back tomorrow"

His ears droop invisibly, and he slooooowly drags in gathering up his stuff.

Pencil.... check. Eraser..... check.....

He can heads to the girls area, the ones that called him a weirdo and spaz.

He can if he prefers, head towards the BIG girl in the back but most are afraid of her. Rumor has it she pushed a kid off a bus for annoying her, while it was driving and got thrown out of her last school

Something about Connor just exudes friendliness, and what's more, you don't even really want to be mean to him, it would be like kicking a puppy...

A sigh, but oddly a reisigned one

"Hi." He whispers, trying not to move his mouth to retain discretion.

The big girl eyes him back then says cautiously "Hello."

She eyes the hand as if worried it will stick "I'm Jodie and Mrs. Trashcan is gonna get upset if she catches us talking" She reminds in awhisper

Oh! He sits up and gazes at the front of the class attentively, while taking notes. Though when he sliiiiiides the paper over towards Jodi, it actually has a silly little scribble that looks like a goat, chewing on the ponytail of a little girl that MIGHT, with imagination and squinting, look like one of those a few rows up.

Her big lip curls . Ah ha, she's a laugh swallower! He's seen the kind before. But she thinks it's funny

He does try to listen, a little, to the teacher. Magnets are kinda cool, after all. He finds his hand raising.

"Yes, Connor" the teacher says, perhaps contemplating retiring 20 years early

"Do you have magnets we can play with?"
