"Well..." Frank looks a little sheepish "Look, if anyone out here as a ... a trinket they'd like to trade for cash, I'd be interested. Depending on what it is. I have a cousin who's an sociologist turned art collector and philanthropist, right? Lucky SOB inherited money. Point is, if someone's got something they're willing to part with, doesn't have to be anything big, and it's artistic, I can collect some info and pass it along to him, and make sure someone gets paid. See?"

"Most of us who had anything to pawn already did" He admits "Wife wanted to sell the wedding ring. I told her no. Not yet"

"As for ART? I haven't seen too much of that. " He ponders "Only one I've seen carrying art down on her luck is Bunni"

"I know it's a long shot." Frank admits "Doesn't have to be valuable in the traditional sense, just unique. That's my cousin's whole thing, see... taking even mundane objects and investing them with value due to thier history, or something. He sure can sell it...."

"Bunni?"

"Red headed girl" he nods "pretty thing, doesn't hang here though."

"Maybe I can help hook her up. With this stuff...." he indicates the duffle "... or with a sale to my cousin. Know where I could find her?"

"no idea.. she comes around now and then, maybe she's just one step better off than we are"

"Ok. She doesn't camp here on the regular, then?"

"Nope, just seen her pass through. Saw her with some wooden carving"

"See, that's exactly the kind of... ok. About how long ago was that?"

"I'm not sure, about a week tops, probably closer to 4 days"

He seems to hear something "Wife's calling. Need to get this to her. Thanks aagain, Frank"

"You call that number on the info, JP." And Frank moves on; he's got a name and a time frame, more than he had before.

And off Frank continues on his mission. He helps a lot of folks, but not many talk about Bunni or know about her if asked. They might have seen her but can't figure where she sets up to stay

He does his VERY best not to leave a trail or arouse suspicions and he's been doing this for a very long time.

He leaves not too long after. He'll make a round of the usual areas by car and if nothing turns up he'll head back to the Lodge.

While it's not a redhead named Bunni, Frank does find something on the ground..looks like it came lose and got blow against a building corner. A sketch.. just pencil and paper...of a sidhe woman astride a magnificent but gentle eyed horse

Frank picks it up... stands, and looks around, carefully, kenning as needed.

Frank leaves the contents of his duffle bag of supplies, puts the picture in it, and heads back to the Lodge.

on the way to the lodge he sees Dirk

Depending on what Dirk is doing, he pulls over, waves, doesn't.....?

Dirk is dragging a body of a homeless guy, using a large cardboard sheet as a litter

Frank pulls over (hard) and steps out. "What happened?"

"Guy just passed out..." Dirk says "I ain't a doctor likee dad, I think it's a heat stroke though"

"Get off the street." He orders.

"I was taking him to a clinic" He slides the man who is sucking on a water bottle (Now dry) over to the side "Still got another mile to go"

"Get in the car."

Frank scoops up the man and carefully puts him in the car near Dirk.

Dirk does, helping the troll with the guy not that Frank needs the lifting

Frank gets into the car and they drive "Why?" to Dirk.

"Why what?" A confused look

"Why were you helping him to a clinic for heat stroke?"

"A place to cool down, they got AC and a water fountain" Dirk says "I didn't have much left in that bottle I gave him." A confused look "What, did I fuck up?"

"No, Dirk. Ok. Let's get him safe, and then we'll talk."

"I think you should know about some resources."

"Okay" He says "But I swear I came this close to bursting open a private business. I tried to get him help there and they said they 'denied him service' ... what a bitch"

"Tell me the story." as Frank drives.

"Saw a guy looking red, puffy, and showing signs of overheating, and he passed out?" A blink "Oh you mean the bitch?"

"Took him in there to get him some AC and shade and she said to get him out... then said she had the right to deny him service"
