Brekke might knock on the door of Tove and Jaymes, while her husban inside their house watches CJ

She does, indeed. knock knock knock

...for she has heard that Frank may be within....

And indeed, Frank answers the door.

"Oh." his beard moves "Hello, come in...."

"Ah!" A pleased look in her eyes. "I did not expect you to answer the door. I...well, have returned." She enters as he holds the door open.

the two year old, near two anyway, waves!

A serious nod to the toddler. "Hello, CJ. You look well."

"Want mama" he says a bit sullenly

"Yes?" She looks to Frank. "Where is Tove?"

Frank shuts the door. "She ... well, I've had to piece it together. She came to the Lodge and asked if Siv or I could come watch CJ, she was in a hurry. Apparently, she's had word of someone in the area she may know. Someone from Thyle."

A blink. "From Thyle? Here? Well...not unheard of, but unusual." A slight frown.

"CJ was napping when I got here. It must have been something, or someone, of urgency to draw her away."

"Did she seem as though it was trouble?"

"She wasn't armed, that I could see. Said she'd be back in 4-5 hours."

"Ah." She nods. "And Jaymes is at work," she says to confirm. "Dagmar?"

"School? Or after-school... track or basketball? Or Goldfinch?"

"Mm," a nod.

"CJ and I have been having some juice. Care for some?"

"I would like that, thank you." She takes a seat near CJ. Fortunately, it's a troll home, so she does not need to be too cautious about the furniture. "Jessica sends her love."

Frank goes about getting her some juice, and refilling CJ's. "I had word you'd gone to visit. Is everything alright?"

CJ sips his refilled juice, then stops "tank you" And sips again

"You're welcome, CJ."

A momentary pause. "There were some difficulties, but there was not the urgency I had been led to believe by the one who called me. Jessica...has the situation under control."

"Very polite, CJ," Brekke approves.

"Of course she does." not without quiet pride.

CJ beams, for a moment, then sighs "Sissy Dag Dag?"

"She must be doing something very important, CJ. She will be home when she can."

A sigh , resigned, praciticing his best forelorn troll look

"Yes, duty can be difficult. You are being very patient."

"Yes" He says, though which part is he agreeing to is hard to say. Probably both

"When you finish your juice, I will read a story to you, if you wish it."

Frank's eyes shine.

"Story? Yes please" CJ says hsi own eyes bright
