Brekke takes another look at the roof. "I think it will hold. Dame Dagmar, do you wish to go check on May in the hospital?"

"Hospitals are banal, she shouldn't go alone" Siv says, hough she's not onne to stand baality well she's wiling to go

"I do want to see if she's okay." Dagmar chews on her lip. Can't worry hangnails in snow gloves.

"I think your Squire should accompany you, then." Nodding to the boy still flopped out on the snow.

"Is that a squire or a ragdoll?"

But Dagmar scoops him up, easily enough.

"Dagmar, I'll be over to visit her in a bit, tell her, okay?"

That from Sylvi, of course.

Brekke looks to Frank. "We need to determine if this was only from the storm. May has a history of generating chimera. Perhaps one turned upon her."

"I will."

"Sovi yetis" Lut says "I was told thee were Sovi yettis"

Brekke scowls, having fought others earlier. She shakes her head. "We must find a way to keep her safe from her own creations. But for now...everybody, good work on this. Now, out of the storm."

She frowns at the winds once more before going with Frank to return to the Lodge, at least to check in before another patrol.

For Dagmar and Connor, the visit to the hospital is ...not as bad as it could be. Some other hospials are a lot more banal, smacking of bueracy and hoplelessess

Connor has never been to a hospital, so it is interesting to him! He sticks close by Dagmar's side, nose wrinkling a bit at the strange and astringent scents of medication and disinfectant.

Dagmar doesn't LIKE hospitals.

...So she holds Connor's hand perhaps a bit more tightly than is comfortable.

He holds tight to Sam's hand, reassuring her.

"Sorry," When she notices, and eases up. This might be the third time.

"Can I help you?" a nurse who looks washed out, save in the eyes is at desk

"I'm here to see May Lastname?"

"She's our sister!" Conner adds, helpfully. Yes, the tall blond girl is related to the dark-haired boy and the mixed race teen...

"Could you narrow it down? Lots of Lastnames..." She looks "Oh wait, MAY..." she looks over her computer "Oh yes. Sweet girl. ray of sunshine that one. Room 230"

"Thanks."

His tail wags, which only Dagmar can see - and feel, as it beats against her leg.

And they see... an odd thing. Some kids have snuck out of the children's ward and are huddled in front of the door of room 230...

and a voice is speaking "And that is how Rabbit tricked Briar Fox and Briar Briar, for you see, he was born and raised in a briar patch!"

Lulu? LULU

Sam blanches.

And chimerical rabbits are popping up

"Bunnies! Is it easter already??"

Sam fidgets.

"thanks, Lulu" May's voice is a pleasant but weak croak

onne of the kids, a boy, headwhips as he hears Connor, his eyes wide

Connor gives the boy a shy smile.

"It's not nearly as cold in here as I thought it would be." Connor comments. "I guess this many friends warms it up?"

"Probably, yeah."

the boy is a year younger than Connor appears to be. He smiles back, but he's also nervous

He reaches into his backpack, and pulls out a bag of cookies! "I brought smacks for everyone. Teevee says Hospital food is bad."

"thanks" the boy says suddenly morr open

A little ggirl says "May? there's a boy here with cookies, you want one? or you, Lulu? There with a tall woman"

"Really tall" the ffirstt boy says

"Wait..." May calls out "Sam?"
