"He's a Keremet, a dark kin, one of the 'netrual' ones" Vali says "i'm not a fan of them"

"No one is" Graves says "But I must release my burden, and as it is a kithain soul, aren't you obliged to let me?"

Vali ignores that for the moment and looks at Dagmar "Whoever is in the box? They don't get May" he agrees

"But how the hell... I can't pick somebody else to die."

"...I killed Tanya..."

Vali looks at her "No. YOu didn't" Truth "You got used."

Shrug-mumble.

"It's not like we got some kid in a coma that won't wake up otherwise..."

"Thatt's.. not a bad idea" Vali says then looks at the Keremet "I have just the subject for your package"

He moves arounnd the Keremet

"You do?" graves says "thanks a lot I..."

That's whe Vali finishes his electric slide bunk and... places the Keremet into statiss. The Dark Kin is frozen

"I'll take tthis, thans" He takes the snuff box then looks to Dagmar "I'll take him too if you want. This will buy us time to 'shop around' for coma patients, won't it?

"Thanks, V-.. Mr. Gardner."

"YOu'rre welcome" He says "here.." A quick scribble "I'm giving you a note to show your teacher .. I caught you going to the bathroom and asked for your help lifting a projector. Sound good? "

"And Sam? " He adds "We'll talk later about the difference between being helpless to help someone, and being the bad guy. Not the same"

A faint frown, avoiding his gaze. "Thanks for the note."

"Least I can do for the world's best Shield yeeter" He takes Graves and the box

"Yeah yeah. I gotta... class."

And the note works.. the teacher even sympathetic

at a hospital

A text goes out ! TXT: Dream Dance.. some back up requested. Seem to have some chimera...oh holy shit they're in the vents

Sylvi gets on her phone to summon a Knight's Heart ride!

That's the backup solution -- she also texts Gerd to see if she's close enough to get the trip done faster.

A moment later Gerd is on the case!

Dagmar takes her motorcycle!

Knight's Heart is canceled, and Sylvi gets the hospital courtesy of Air Gerd! "Thanks!" she says as she heads inside.

Gerd and Syvli arrive first... outside the hospital... and they see it. Nigghtmare chimera... Covid virus poofs the size of basket balls with knives! A grim reaper in a doctor's mask with a giant scalpel

"Gah!" The sight makes her stop short before she gets to the hospital doors. Then a deep breath. "Okay...let's dance!" Bowie knife in hand, she goes after the reaper.

And Dagmar pulls up just as Sylvi lunges for the Grim reaper..

Behind it's mask, it says "You might be a king, or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the reaper!"

"Well, ain't this a thing?" She parks, and pulls Flyswatter from her back. "But this specializes in killing bugs, sooooo...."

"Good thing I don't fear you," Sylvi replies with a smirk a she parries the scalpel and stabs in riposte.

Flyswatter gleams! For folks call viruses bugs after all? To the Dreaming? it's all the same!

Gerd raises shield and smashes into one

"Hey guys!" Chipper greeting to her friends.

And Flyswatter arcs through the air!
