No! He is looking for spiders!!

SPIDERS.. he finds...

In one corner, a novelty item that never caught on. A snow globe? No, a spider globe! The scene is people in a panic racing down an alley way of 'generic city USA'. If you shake it, you see why they run as dozens of tiny spiders zip about them instead of plain ole snow

He snags it with a grin! And then he looks for something Nerfy. A foam popgun, maybe?

Oh those they got, including the Nurf Armagedi-gun! With THREE guns in one, the whomp shot, the Scatter bump, and the long (okay medium) sniper Twhap!

In a fluorescent orange and green design that only a blind man (and sadly some police forces) could confuse for a real weapon

"This! Jack would hate it." It gets bundled under an arm, and he heads over to where he spotted some kitchen wares. Looking for something novelty-esque, a humorous apron or hot mitt or something!

Well, there's that one, which , if he's shopping for Kerri, is much better than the one that has a hand pointing to the crotch saying 'May I recommend the sausage' because as the childling knows, that's not where the sausages are kept

He frowns a bit, none of these really look like something for Tove... and keeps looking. "Maybe a nice spatula? That's fun to say. Spatch Spatch Spatch..."

That's the ticket! He grabs one and giggles.

Now, he sneakily tries to edge away from Sam... out of sight, sneak sneak... and looks for presents that a Knight might like.

A brow at the sneaking, and she turns to examine some makeup palettes. Hmmmm.

Mmm this is interesting, 'make your own make up' for hobbyists which fits a certain someone perfectly

It is snuck under the nerf item with a smug look.

He then looks around - clothing? Men's ware... he searches for... a pair of slippers!

Did someone fair fortune him? Because he's on a roll

He eyes them... now HE thinks they are hilarious. But... a pause, and he looks for a more simple, elegant option.

Simpler, and cheaper... plain brown ones with black bottoms

He stands there for a time, staring, unable to make a decision.

Then, he slides the makeup back onto the shelf, and snags the horse slippers. He knows someone who WILL like them...

His basket is getting full!

A never flies though the shop, looking more confused than normal

He checks the Christmas section next - maybe there's a horseshoe or horse shaped ornament?

There's a poop emoji one that makes him giggle, but he passes...

A raindeer ornament? sure.. no horse

He pauses to wave a friendly hand at the Never! Those around might just think he's waving to someone else in the crowd....

Connor pouts. Maybe he can break the antlers off?

The never seems to be checking out everyone's hair, and looks very dissapointed

There is a section of resin-cast toys - lots of horses there!

Connor runs a hand through his own longish messy hair, watching the never curiously even as he drifts over to the - joy! Horses!

He checks the price on them, and then looks to see if there are any especially pretty ones.

Dagmar would say they're all pretty, for sure.

Chime! The plastic foals are a good size for the Never to pretend to ride!

And it does, dreaming of finishing it's quest to find the Never giantess of the Northlands

"That's a beauty" an employee says

A shy nod to the Employee. "I'm gonna turn it into a pie." He says. Then frowns, and tries again. "I mean, a christmas. A Christmas... cookie. A tournament. A,.."

He huffs, and then shakes the horse, spilling out, "Gonna-put-a-ribbon-on-it-hang-it-from-a-tree."

"Don't worry kid, Crowds make LOTS of people nervous" she smiles and nods "whoever gets that will love it. Need anything else?'

He ponders. “I don’t know. Do I? I won’t know I know unless until I know.”

The employee looks a bit baffled but smiles "Well, do you have every thing for all your family?"

"Um. No." A grin. "What am I missing?"
