The Bergen Mall is alive with Christmas decorations, blaring holiday music piped everywhere...and shoppers who either want to support 'local' or don't trust Amazon. The food court is still selling pumpkin spiced stuff, but also has nutmeg and egg not flavors in abundance.

Jonas looks at the living throng and looks at Piper "I think I want to run away now"

Her eyes are as brightly gleaming as the Christmas lights, though less garish. "But we haven't even had any cocoa, or seen Santa! This is one of my favorite bits about Christmas... snow OUTSIDE, warm INSIDE..." She grabs his arm and heads towards a shop. "And I still need to get Yule gifts for pretty much EVERYONE."

He gets dragged along, which, of course, means he lets her. At his size if he parked himself still and she pulled the effects would be comical, so it's a voluntary drag despite his dubious look, 'Cocoa is all right" Jonas admits

A beam up at him! "That's the spirit! Now, let's see what we can find here. I can't imagine trying to buy Makeup for Sylvi, when she's an expert... but maybe an accessory?" Looking over some scarves.

"I can never figure out what colors are fashionable or preferable." He admits "What IS Sylvi's favorite color?" He looks through the scarves

"You have to be careful about oranges... they sometimes clash a bit with blue-toned skin. See?" Holding up a sheer pumpkin-shaded piece of fabric against his own arm.

"Yikes... yes, that's jarring," He confesses as she does.

"I was thinking one of these..." She lifts one that is a sheer piece that won't touch the cold, but can be looped around for an interesting affect as the purple looks lighter or darker depending on layers...

"Oh yes, sshe could work with that.."

That's when she feels..wait, is that glamour in that corner there?

Her head tilts like she is listening to a piece of new music. "Jonas, you feel that?" Setting the scarf back in place for the moment.

He turns, his brows knit, "Glamour, not strong, but ...yes."

"Should we check it out?"

"I suppose it's our duty to" He says, and means it. Trolls. They could turn shopping into a duty

She gives a last glance at the scarf, then smiles, and heads that direction.

Mostly jackets or coats... but, there's no designer label, no uniform approach. One example?

"Wow.... I've never seen anything quite like that before. Do you think it's hand-made?" Looking for a lable.

"I think so" he says, holding up another.. all denim, but patchwork

She looks for a sign at the store - is this a regular store at the mall, or a visiting vendor stall?

No label exactly, save a tiny T over a rising sun which is no bigger than a thumbnail

Regular store, though these clothes seem to be shoved in the corner , as if separated from the usual clothing

"Interesting..." She murmurs to Jonas, as she checks for price tags next.

The glamour... from the clothes itself?

They're not treasures, but clearly someone who is glamourous, perhaps a dreamer, perhaps a kithain? worked with love on each

Then Piper sees it, at first she might frown... Vegatarian that she is, she maybe have opinions about leather.... or she might let it slide.. but either way, she realizes... this thing, the biggest project of all, is not leather, but pleather...

For it comes with a tag that says so... 'Pleather, guilt free coolness- Sunny T'

"Oh, now THIS is cool...." She folds it over one arm, and seeks a store worker! "Excuse me..."

One lady is folding pants, but she looks over. Her own badge says 'Hi my name is Cindy'. "Can I help you, miss?"

The prices were reasonable, some even bargains

"Hi.... Cindy." Piper makes a point to notice and use the lady's name. "I was curious about some of these custom-looking jackets? They stand out a bit. Is this a new designer you're working with?"

"I don't know if I'd call her a designer, though I guess she is. Our manager here has a friend on hard times? MESSY divorce, like in nasty... and our manager helped her out by allowing a few of her clothes in the corner there. Of course, the store gets a percentage, that can't be helped, but it does get her... the manager friend, some money while she's on her own for the first time in awhile. Lots of gossip involved but i don't know all the facts. Of course, if the BIG Chain finds out our manager is doing this she could get in trouble, but I don't think it will come to that."

Piper glances up at the sign of the "Forever 20-Something" chain, and rolls her eyes a bit. "Well, I don't see any reason to bring it up. I was just wondering because maybe I can get her contact info? Like, for a custom tailored request?"

"Well, I'm supposed to be sellling them here" Cindy squirms a bit, "maybe if you buy something?"

She holds up the not-leather jacket. "I had my eye on this, but the sleeves are a touch long for me. I'll buy, but just was hoping I could get... was it Sunny T? Get the designer to adjust it for me. A regular tailor might mess up the custom work on the edges."

She has her wallet out to show willingness to pay...

Cindy blushes "Give me a sec. I'll check my manager's notes" And she goes off to do so.

Jonas brings the scarf from earlier over "This too?"

A grin up at Jonas!

"I have her contact info" Cindy waves a post it she copied it down on

"Oh, great!" Piper checks the price... she wasn't supposed to be shopping for HERSELF here, after all...

Pretty reasonable...

and Jonas is already pulling out a credit card "here, I'll get them "

"But but..." She fusses, only a little. "If you get me this jacket, it's gotta be my Yule gift, then. And the Scarf will be from both of us..."

"Okay, you get Siv the scarf, I pay for the jacket, and it will not be your ONLY yule gift" he says "Better? "

She grins. "You've got a deal." Paying for her portion with a smug look.

Cindy whispers "Like your boyfriend, he's smart enough to know a girl likes surprises AND what she wanted"
