He stops in his tracks and gives her a baffled look. "Seriously?"

"that hundred bucks will go fast" she says "I'm keeping SOME for myself"

"But you don't like me. What's the catch?" Eying the stall with a gleam of interest.

"Where did you get the idea i don't like you?" Gwen says surprised "Sometimes you're rash, adn you need to stop drolling over Chuck like he was a deluxe sports car that got bought out from under you , but I like you fine"

He looks uncertain, but nods, and takes the bucks before she can change her mind, zooming into the book tent.

"Well , we've lost him for hours" She sighs

Gwen looks to see Thistle eyingg stuff , much of which is over the troll's head

"They have theories " She says And shows some occult books ala mortal theory

"Alas, kithain books of arts are rarer.. We don't have as many in stock"

He frowns, disappointed. “Do other pennons have better selection?”

"Well, why don't you see what we DO have mmm?" She says and pulls out one "take a look at this"

“Oh, yes, please.” He is not trying to be rude, he is just very excitable…

"Well, we have this book on astrology, not a typical one mind you" She shows it, a chimerical book labeled The Spheres Know more than one Song, the cover is of the Seven Sisters Constellation, but if you tilt it, they seem to dance

His eyes light up!

“Please, how much is this one?”

"A hundred and five dollars"

“….. oh.” He hesitates and checks his watch. “Would it be okay if I just read a few pages until we have to go?”

"Well, others may want to purchase"

He sets the book down, with regret. “Should have known there was a catch.” A sigh as he looks at the ‘pennons bucks’, and heads over to find Thistle.

"A catch?" the woman seems surprised, then shrugs
