One wilder, younger than her, waves her over to her stall, "Hi, I'm Margilita, weapons expert, but the Count frowns on boomsticks being sold hers so I've made some 'you'd be surprised what you can live through' alternatives. Can I interest you in a pisher taser?"

"A.. what?" She looks at the goods, with a mixture of admiration, curiosity and... nervousness?

OH it's a lot like a regular taser, but classier...." She pulls out one to show her

"See, metal armor is hardly any protection at all..."

"Very Buck Rogers."

"Does it... " She pokes at it. "Is that.. like.. an electric sprite powering it?" Why, this na'ar doesn't even know what a FUBAR is!

"No that's a FUBAR..." She seems surprised "hard to make anything better than drek with out a fubar..., well, when you're playing with juice anyway. See, the coil realingment maximizes the coefficient redundancies for enhanced amplitude... but that's furking obvious"

"Huh. FUBAR. Okay." She squints at it. "Where you find those? Is it sentient? Does it mind being a battery?"

"You don't know about Fubars?" Magilita says surprised "Are you some naarhead, furking around with me, or just a fledge so green lawnmowers don't stop for you?"

"I ain't no na'ar! But.. but... no, it's not exactly been a month yet..."

" Clearly she's flexible "Hope you know how to haggle" and it seems there are smaller cheaper things to buy as well, some fire crackers as well as tasers, a real life fart gun (She liked the movie, sue her) and a few tools meant to disarm bombs

"I don't have anything to trade. Just money." She picks at the selection.

"Okay.. that'll do" They haggle a bit. Margilita does give her a almost charitiible price for each item, whispeirng it so she doesn't haveo thers try to rob her blind, and pulls out a book "This is the training manual I mentioned.." It says 'KITH BOOK NOCKERS, a 4th Wall Production' and has a steampunk pirate logo stamped on it "Taught me a lot about our kith"

She gets some firecrackers, apparently she wants to see if someone called Briar will eat them.

A pack of whamtinglers, and some BamBangers! And, for a fair price she gets that, and the book, which looks a bit blurred in parts... but has some basics on Fubars.. and Nocker history!

For Frank, second place is still pretty nice in the wrestling department, 300 dollars worth of Pennons Bucks! He can use them to buy stuff here at Pennons.

After some (very serious) discussion with Brekke, he keeps $100 of it and gives the rest to her for the use of the Barony.

Due to the demands of the day, her role, and her rank, Brekke is occupied after that, so he goes for a wander around the grounds.

Well, a hundred Pennons bucks still needs to be used, and Vendors call out to him, "Hey friend, want some gym equipment? These weights TALK and motivate you... sometimes they sing" He shows a weight set

Someone else calls out to him "Sirrah? WOuld you like a troll sized weapon? I sell swords, maces, hammers, and axes. Best from Darkgate"

That last offer has him wander over. He -has- a blade that he values dearly, and a tire tapper, but.....

The vendorr smiles and taps the sigil sign, evidence he sells Darkgate goods and isn't just using their name "What can I show you , Sirrah? You prefer one handed maces, great swords that require two hands even for yourself? A back up daggerr mayhaps?"

"Mm." He thinks about those of the Barony.

While he does, he looks over quality and variety.

All of it seems to be quality, but the styles do vary. A classic Scotiish Claymore wih little adornment, a dagger that's got an amazing damascus pattern, a mace with mezo american style

"Can you show me something for a childling? Slight build, left-handed, about this tall?" he measures "Not a natural warrior but in need of a reliable starter weapon."

"Oh? What kith if I may ask?" He opes a trrunk

"Sidhe."

A nod , and he says "Now, Sidhe tend to like them pretty AND quality" the fellow pulls out some options "Now this sabre is good, light, bit short by adult standards, but like you said, a good starter..... notice the grip that protects the hand? Chimes like a bell if you parry right. Now, if you want more ommph, there's this short sword, thicker blade, more resilient to parrying at any local, and if I may say, the gemstone in the hilt accents the patterned steel. Lastly there's this hand axe, may not be typical tto mostt sidhe, but it's got good weight and heft, annd can be swung side blows without losing anything. Look a that blue tinge to the metal?"

"Yes?" he looks.

Pretty much as he described "Well, the blue tinge may not mean much in it's fightin ability, but if the childling likes the color ,certainnly something to consider. Also, the metal collects moonlight, like a glow in the dark effect, only moonlight. Odd huh? "

"Mm. May I?" he gestures to hold each weapon, if allowed.

"Course sir," A smile 'Probably feel like a toothpick in a troll's hands though"

He takes each in turn, lifting, considering each for Siv's squire.

The sabre migght match Siv's fencing lessons better, though Siv uses a Rapier... so the short sword wih it's thrust would also apply well. Then again, he's seen that Siv knows Axe work. The blue for liam is a nice touch and it has a good edge. the point on the shortsword is a real piercer... and yes, that Sabre is meant for speed. each has their benefits
