He doesnn't charge, just closing slow

Frank makes a "come at me" gesture with his hands.

He stands as tall and strong and grounded as a.... well.....

A snort, and the guy loops out an open hand hoping to snnag him

And this time he starts to get a grip on Frank, no lock yet

Frank twists and grapples back, looking to, yes, get the ogre in a nelson.

For a moment, it's a thrashing of two HUGE guys each vying for the superior grip

Jaymes gives a grunt ("You got this")

Frank plants his feet and TWISTS.

And Frank manages to get his foe in the lock and ... despite the attempts, the green hued troll cann't shake him

"Get him to the mat!" Siv yells

Frank leans in, bearing his full weight to drive his opponent to the ground.

It's not easy, but Frank is used to a life of not easy, inch by inch, moment by moment, he lowers his foe to the ground, and holds him against the mat..

the Countdown begins!

Frank, although he doesn't talk about it much, isn't a stranger to arm-wrestling. Not with him being a trucker. He knows how to slowly and firmly use his strength to press his opponent to the mat.

"3..." Struggle... but can't get free from Frank "2... " tired "And ONE"

"The Winner, on behalf of Rivervale, Sir Franklyn!" The judge declares

"Go team Liam!" Kassedy gushes

Brekke watched intently, expression carefully neutral as the contest went on...but a proud, pleased grin just touches her lips as the victor is named.

Frank releases the ogre and offers him a hand; to stand, or in acknowledgement, either way.

Siv isn't so reserved "Still the best, dad!"

The Ogre grumbles but takes the hand "I thought you did most of your work from a desk"

Frank nods. "Good."

And the next match is called. Frank gets to rejoin his wife

And he does.

Brekke meets him as he returns, offering him his shirt.

He takes his shirt from her and pulls it back on.

"Thank you."

"Well done," she says quietly. That grin still lingers...and she can't help but admire a bit before he puts his shirt on.

A soft grunt.

Siv has moved to Dagmar "Ready for the Joust? Dee's looking lean and hungry"

Frank catches Brekke's glance and expression, and goes a light lavender on the cheekbones.

Brekke clears her throat and schools her expression, looking away.

"Ready as I can be!"

"Either I beat Dee, or Dee earns her win, the hard way."

Siv nods "Make her work for it"

Soon, Frank is called into another mach, then another

Brekke's going to have to hold on to his shirt for a while....

Brekke does not complain. Not in the slightest.

Frank faces a huge Eshu (Almost as big as Caspian DeBuke) and.. Frank defeats him. Frank faces a Scathach Grump Sidhe who is REALLY well trained, but Frank breaks his hold, and then reverses things.. and wins...

And finally, the final match..A snake pooka? Oh.. an Anaconda Pooka!

"Soooo conflicted" Eden mutters

Frank flexes and twists in preparation.

But try as he might...Frank loses... finnally bound and coiled

"Winner is.. Estevo l'Snako, Champion of teaneck"

Frank offers to shake, good-sportsmanship.

Win or lose, Brekke meets him readily at the side of the ring...and after the defeat, presents him his shirt once more.

He nods, takes it, dresses.

Baron Kealan whistles innocently

Siv humphs "Between Doomwind and now this guy, I sese thee's a Ringer hiring program every september"
