Piper heads towards the barn, watching for the dogs. They're good dogs, but the little one tends to get underfoot and she'd rather not trip over it.

Twobit anounces herself. Bark barkity bark

"Hey there, Little-Bit. Heading up to see your people."

A snort. Very well. Two bit will escort the hoofer ally.

A click click click of hooves on the porch, followed by a light rap on the door.

Twobit barks onn this side of the door to announce guests

Brown dog barks on the INSIDE of the door, to announce Guests!

"COMING"

Tromp tromp tromp

Door opens! "Oh. Hey." Upnod.

"Hey, Dagmar! Is this a good time? I wanted to chat with your Ma, and you too if you're not busy."

"Um, sure. I think CJ is settled..."

She immediately lowers her voice. "Sorry! I forgot about him. I heard he's walking now?"

Twobit bounces around their feet

"Walking and talking!"

"TALKING?" She squeals, then quiets again. "Soon he's GOT to be singing...." A big grin.

Tove smiles "He mumbles musically, does that count?"

"Hey, Mrs. King! Mind if I borrow your ear for a minute?"

"I suppose. As long as I get it back"

A soft snort, and a grin. "I'm sure you've heard about the new Freehold..." A grin to Dagmar. "But I wanted to ask if you knew much about what we're hoping to accomplish on the mortal end of things?"

"I know it used to be a recording studio" Tove says

"We're hoping to revive that portion and bring in dreamers, or artists that might be mused - or even just artists that can create things worthwhile, because that will help inspire more dreamers, and so on. Right now we're in the early phases, but we're putting together some of the recording rooms, and I'm realizing that as much as I like to think I know about music, I know fudge-all about how it gets onto tracks, live on the air, or to the listener, if it's not just carrying down from the stage.

I thought I remembered that you did some professional music work - is that something you know much about, or if not, have someone you might recommend?"

"Well, actually" Tove ponders "I do have some second hand gear I could loan to you"

"Borrowing some gear would be really appreciated. The more we have to work with now, the more we can work towards in the future.

Do you still do much recording? We don't have a whole lot going on, but I would gladly lend you space to record in any time you want if you're looking for it."

"Might wind up with a different sound quality than the she-shed?"

"I try to record every day, but sometimes I do wish I could ... yes...that might be a good thing for me. Just fair enough so I don't get to distracting myself with housework"

"If it helps, I can baby sit the wee one... well, the not-so-wee one, if you come by when I'm there. And I find myself there a lot these days, at least so far."

"He's like a tiny whirlwind..."

"PIper, he's... ah, yeah, CJ has energy"

A warning

"If I can't keep up with a toddler, I'll have to trade in my horns and hooves." She states with bravado.

"Ooookaaay" The mother says. annd mmms ("I warned her. You heard right, Dagmar?")

Nodding.

"I also wanted to ask if you knew any artists. I mean, other than musical. Like, drawers. Is that a word? Draw-er... Draw..." She shakes her head. "You do such lovely wood work, I figured you might know someone, or at least might help me with a sketch."

Brow furrow.

"Symon's not bad at that..."

"Quite good. Mmm do we have anyone else with drawing skills?"

"I had an idea for... well, it might be silly." She pulls out a piece of paper, and shows it to Tove and Dagmar. "See, like, a surprise. She might not like it, but..."

"Yeah?" She looks.

A lean over

"Oh... that.. that could work"

"Mmm... Chief draws, too. I think. So, like - Heraldry?"

A sheepish look. She nods. "Yeah, I'm no artist, but I'm impressed you could even make it out. See, there, that's supposed to be like the one the Chief has on HER stuff..."

"Kinda poetic, branching out, but keeping roots?"

"Yeah...

"Maybe put the bird ON the tree... that'd.. like, ok, the Goldfinch Overall..."

"And.. uh... the music notes, maybe three in pall..."
