"Let me know what your pals say, okay?" He thinks, then, "We can pay 'em if they want. Dross if they need it. Dad's place isn't as bad as most, but it's still a hospital and can get dreary. You know, cold and gloomy."

"Yeah..." She sighs

"You, uh. alright?"

"I'm just not sure I'm good at being good. " She admis "I did bad shit, but I did bad shit well. Around here I'm..meoodre at being decent"

"Then don't BE good. Be bad, in the right direction."

"Like, when those protesters show up outside the vaxx clinic? Ain't nobody gonna think much of it if they get their signs or noses broken. Just draw the line before they'd take up any hospital space, and you're golden."

"They got protestors?" She blinks "Fuckers"

"Yeah, they got signs with shit like "No More Muzzles" and "Sheep Wear Masks" and shit."

"Man you just made my day. Sure, I'm gonna make some calls, then ..talk to the protesters"

He gives her a gummy grin. "If you go now.... Dad is gonna sleep at LEAST 8 hours, if I have to lock his door. Just be done before he heads back out, cool? "

She offers him a fist bump and gggrins "Got it"

He holds up his fist, inwardly wincing in anticipation.

And the bump is .. light "It's okay. I know you're a noodle. Also, you're that Daggmar girl's best friend and I ain't risking hurtin you when you haven't even pissed me off. Thanks. I'm off to get some protestors. Secret is to get them when they sepraate to make a call or ggo to the bathroom then beat the shit out of them, and let them go staggering back to ther firends. See, that's when they finnd their inner sheep and start bleating in a panic"

"You're alright." He grins, and heads back in.

And off Prissy goes. It will , for the record, turnn outt that by the local news later, no less than three protestors report they got the shit beat out of them, and their car vandalized. The protests broke up early, and the hospital administrator told them that oneof them would have to go to a different care facility as they were 'all filled up'

A knock on Dagmar's door, and a centaur awaits outside. Dame Tiara

well, I should say on her House's door. She's not gone to her room. Damn stairs

Thudding feet and then the door opens. "Oh... hey. Tiara."

"Dame Dagmar, sorry to bother you, we have a visitor and ... she wanted to surprise us and asked me to fetch you."

"Uh... sure? Who's here? Do I need to bring anything?"

"Armor, arms, lance" She nods

A firm nod. "Gimme a sec."

The Centaur herself has barding and a breast plate

It only takes a moment for Dagmar to grab the duffel holding her armor, and she carries both Flyswatter and her dueling lance over one shoulder. "MOM, GOING TO THE LODGE!"

"Have fun!"

And they head over towards the lodge, which isn't far, and there, in a clearing large nough for horses to race thorugh, there is Lavender on the back of Snowthorn

"Dost thou even JOUST, Gals?" Lavender grins and raises her lance "JOUST CLUB!"

"Joust club!" Dagmar grins.

Tiara laughs "Joust Club" Not as loud but enjoying

"We keep looking for the right time to hold these so I figured what the hell, I might as well make it happen myself," Dee beams "So go get your horse there troll girl"

"I'll get Star! Just you wait!" And she's off at a run!

A strident whinny from the pasture - Star has heard them arrive, and is excited!

"Joust club!" She hops the fence to meet Star, and lead her over to get her tack on!

Tiara says "You were right, it's made her day"

"Making my day too," Dee admits "We haven't met in a damn month"

Even in haste, Dagmar takes care to check all the straps and buckles. She won't risk harm to Star.

Clearly it has made Star's day as well, the mare perhaps taking a bit longer in her excitement as she frisks and nibbles at her rider.

Tiara looks over "Only three of us, how will we sort this out, trading blows, shots at the popinjay?"

"All of the above?" Lavender grins, then calls out "Oh, got something for Spark but it can wait if you want"

"We'll figure it out!" Star's antics earn some small laughs. "I know, I know, girl...."

Stormwake looks on enviously but also nickers his hellos and well wishes to both.

And soon enough, Dagmar is up on the mare's back, ready to GO.

She may even prance a bit before Stormwake.

Not TOO much, though, that's how you get stuck with a foal.

When Dagmar and Star rejoin the other jousters, Lavender waves "Looking good there, Star" A grin at Dagmar 'You too"

Star leans in to sniff at Snowthorn's nose, politely, and nickers to Lavender.
