Brekke is dazed, the image filling her sky! If not for trollish willpower she might be on her knees as it seems the sky itself is filled with the image of what she is sure is something the bale wanted her to see

And that is how Siv finds her, unsteady, mouth open, clutching a fencepost of the paddock for balance as she stares up into the sky.

Star nickers in concern, nosing at her.

Siv moves to her mom, "Mom, can you hear me?" Strong hands to support. She maybe the weakest of the Kings but none of them ARE Weak

Stormwake nickers in concern as well

Her daughter's voice calls back her attention, and she blinks, then shakes her head to clear it. For a minute she stands there, eyes closed. Then she looks at Siv. "What happened? The balefire...."

"Zane got us going in a group bunk for an Omen. I think he was tryingg to unleash, but Sylvi threw an Awaken in there.. and, I think the balefire decided to take advantage of it? Did you see?"

"I saw," she nods, taking a moment to process. "Leech...and another figure. Leech's control over his own death is removed, and his Death claims him. And...a new flower. A new start."

"the other figgure was a centaur, mom, though I couldn't tell which one" Siv ponders

"Yes. But a centaur. Hm. This may be the same vision Leech himself saw, which made him panic."

Her eyes narrow for a moment. Then she sighs and lowers her head, resigned to something. "I understand part of it, at least."

"You do? Care to come back and tell us? Because I think Zane , Symon and Sylvi are about to write diagrrams in chalk on the walls"

"I mean that I understand my role. I must decide which centaur is to confront Leech."

"Oh" Siv nods "And we keep on our mission to defund him and de influence him."

Brekke nods. "That will put him in a position where the centaur's efforts may find more success."

"Are you okay now, mom?" her daughterr asks "The horses are worried"

Indeed, Star and Stormwake fuss

"Hm? Oh...yes. Yes. Thank you, Siv." She is standing straighter now and seems fine, if a bit distracted. "Stormwake, Star, all is well. Yes, I will feed you now."

A snort, and she swishes her tail. Yes, carrots. But more important that the Boss Mare is well. It is good that her grown filly came.

Stormwake nickers as things resume their proper nature.

"Okay.. you understand whatever you nneed to do, then I'll go back in and tell them you're fine" Siv says relaxing some but giving each horse a pat

"I am fine," Brekke assures her. "Go. You have much to do."

Siv lifts up to kiss her mom on the cheek, "I will. " And she goes back in

Brekke welcomes the kiss, and give Siv a pat on the shoulder before her daughter goes back to the Lodge. Alone with the horses, her brow knits as she goes about her tasks, considering which centaur should be sent to meet Leech.

It's a heavy choice but then, she has broad shoulders
