Siv taps her foot

"Fine fine... I'll stay here"

He assures

She gives him a big hug! But not as big as Siv can, because her arms barely reach around. "If you need space, you can always still stay at the tree fort, or wherever. Or kick me out! I can visit the Wayburtons or bunk up with Rikki. There's always a solution, we just need to all be on the same page... or at least in the same book?"

"I am not kicking you out..." He says "As for your family..ah, they called while you were out of range and I was here"

"Why didn't you mention that before this? " Siv says

"I thought I'd mention it over the.. ah the food i have to make sure it's not burning" he rushes to the stove

"The Wayburtons called? Or my moms? Is everything OK?"

"Your moms... but they wanted to know what TIME you were visiting tomorrow?" He asks

Visit? Visit visit.. she wracks her brain

Oh shit! She told her moms she would drop by.. it was somethinnng she set up weeks ago

She was thinking of introducing Siv and Jonas to them! and vice versa

"Ahhhhhh!" She tugs at her horns in dismay. "They called yesterday?! Or today?"

"Just two hours ago" He assures "One of them said, and I'm not sure i remember right, 'best be bringing all the hugs and you know what to boot'?"

If she checks her cell phone now that it's IN range... looks like her moms tried to call.. more than once. No wonder they just called the apartment

She slumps in relief. "Good, good - I was worried that 'tomorrow' was 'today'..." And looks to Siv. "I know we just got back, but do you think you're up for a Cali-Trip? Narwhal could get us close, or we could trod to Tijuana and then hoof it..."

"I can get you there" Siv says "But i need to drop off our findinggs to the lodge. They may belong to the centaurs after all"

"Wait, I'll be meeting your moms? What if they hate my guts?" Worried looks cross her features

"If any of the stuff isn't claimed by the centaurs, does that make it ours?" A cheeky grin. "Wrap it up and give it to Mama V as a present, and hope it doesn't turn her into a cat."

"I'll bring flowers... what kind of flowes do they like?" She swallows

She gives Siv's hand a squeeze. "They're nice ladies. And I'm sure they'll like you. Both of you." Looking to Jonas. "If you're not free tomorrow, we'll go another time, but I'd love for my parents to meet the most important people in my life - both of you."

"I'll be happy to accomapany you both" A pause 'Do I need to wear a suit?" he inquires

A laugh! "They'd be fine if you showed up in anything except your birthday suit. And that's just because Siv and I have dibs on THAT outfit. Neither of them are formal or stuffy... Mama Vi - that's Viola used to play saxophone for jazz clubs down in New Orleans, and Mama Vee - that's Vera - used to sing country in the type of bars where they have a cage up to protect you from the drunks like in Blues Brothers - and then taught High School music which was probably more dangerous." She grins.

"They're tough mamas but they're sweet as pie, especially to their FAVORITE daughter. I'm sure you'll BOTH be fine."

"Do they have ANOTHER Daughter?" A brow from Jonas "Because if they do, that's more impressive"

Siv snerks

"Shush, you." She grins.

"Why would they have needed any others when they got perfection on the first go?"

"I can't argue with this logic" Siv nods "I was my parent's second born for similar reasons"

"Fine fine.. I'll go" Jonas assures

Siv kisses Jonas "Mind you, you DO look good in a suit, but I think they'll probably see that as stiff"

"Unlike the crazy bohemian that I am?" He asks

"I LIKE your flavor of crazy bohemian. It complements us both well."

"Okay, PIper" Siv says "Love you , but you've got sannd in your hooves. You might want to shower yourself"

"I'll use the time to drop off the goods with warning labels"

“Oh, drat. Rather sand then snow, though!” And she heads to the shower.

"She's such a summer bunny" Siv says as she gathers the things and dresses to go

"I'm glad the winntner is over too" Jonas admits

The sound of singing - of course! - from the shower.

When she comes out, Siv is gone

Patting at her hair with a towel. "I hope she finds the original owners of those treasures."

"She will. She's as stubborn as any other member of her family, and as tenacious"

"Good! Now, let's see if we can't get another big chair in here. If I get a wall mount for the guitar, it will free up a bit of floor space..."

"I don't want to be in the way " He says "I can sit on the floor myself"

"But if you're in a chair, then I can sit in your lap." Reasonable!

"I.. canot argue with that" Jonas admits after pondering

Grin! "I didn't think so."

"Of course, whenn you or Siv are in my lap it's hard to focus"

"You're at home, love. It's supposed to be a place you can relax."
