Gritting her teeth, she scoots closer to her bike - her left leg hangs as dead weight, thigh already swelling. Riding is not an option. Dammit.

A vehicle pulls up, wait she knows this one, Tiffany's jeep?

The Thane calls out "Olly Olley... oxen cheap?"

"Tiffany! There's hunters, they tried to bespell Lane. They're heading west, were heading... (&&@#&$$## )(#&(&@#* prius..."

"Not them. the hunters are in a white van."

"The fucking prius can't fucking look both goddamned ways."

"Gerd's looking, but I don't know where she's coming from. If you hurry, you could catch up..."

"Easy easy, the wicked witch of the yeast is flying along warp speed looking for the Van..." First Aid kit takenn out of Jeep, and gear "She's on the trail like a bulldog on a gummi bear. I'm here for kicks and shiggles." Down she joins the girl in the ditch to look her over, expertly.

"Think I broke it."

"I'll do the thinning around here," She drawls, then frowns, and helps move the bike more off with a grunt, then looks it over again, "Oh wow. They don't make legs like they used to. Hold still, this is going to hurt like a terrible star wars director shitting on your favorite character"

Dag is propped up on her elbows, sweating despite the coolness of the spring day. A few growing purple bruises from the tumble, a collection of scrapes and scratches... and the leg, yes.

"I mean, yeah mister "I know there's good in you' is gonna be like 'oo I scared of newphew you gotta die'" A snort "Hamhanded character warping asshat..." It DOES hurt, but then she is done, the leg set between two firm small slates and then wrapped. "This reminds of the time I found my damsel. Should I call Nadeen?"

Grunt. "Nadeen ain't here anymore."

"mmm" She says trying a troll communication, but maybe because she's a pooka it comes out wrong ("Avacados earn summer fliers")

She rubs her face, frustration leaking out past trollish stoicism.

"Can you help me get to the lodge, please?"

She looks at the wrecked bike. More frustration... anger? Simmering negativity, either way.

"No. I'm going o get you to the lodge instead" And she props the girl up, acting as a fuzzy crutch. A bit of glamour and...hey, she's not quite floating but she feels lighter

Dagmar makes a face, trying not to lean too much on the smaller thane... it is probably pure stubbornness that has her moving at all.

And into the jeep she gets "Now don't worry about your roomba. I got someone coming by to steal it"

"Yeah." Glum and dour and irritated.

"Jerk in a Prius you said?" Coaxing

"Cut me off, I swerved and lost control." A growl underlies her tone. "Crashed in the fucking ditch."

"My bike's gonna be all fucked up, and now I'm fucking useless."

A nod "Yeah, brave, smart, supportive... useless" A sympathetic look " I've been there except I was also SO Sexy. So you saved a Prius' life and paid the price"

Grunt.

"All I've done is sit in the house watching the kids."

A nod

"So yeah, fucking useless, since I couldn't even do this when the goddamned hunters came to my doorstep. Yes."

A curious look, "Honey, if your desk job means you've kept a child from being kidnapped, maybe bureaucracy is more exciting than you think?"

They approach the lodge

Dagmar is scowling.

"Lane is vanless, because you said she's too young to drive. Gerd is on the trail, because you sent her a what's ap," She reminds "But .. it sucks getting benched during a game."

"I want to hurt them. I want to hurt them so bad they will be scared to come back, and tell all the other assholes to stay away, too."

"They don't get to hunt our people."

A tilt of her head "Huh , I have never seen the Chief throw her voice this far before" but it's not mocking "I'm STARTINNG to suspect that beltaine Oath was fitting"

A sigh. "This is my home. I want to protect it. They protected me."

"Yeah, your mom was ready to nuke somebody"

She helps the girl out nenar the lodge, offerinng herself up again, and says "I know you don't believe me despite my record for honesty, but maybe, just maybe, this world is better for you having a seat in it's movie theatre?"

Dag, again, tries to minimize how much she leans on Tiff - even mortally, she's a big girl. But her leg gives her little choice in the manner, and she's too big to be carried.

Yup. But Tiff is a SPORTING Gal, athletic and toned herself. Vali has headwhiped more than once for his wife moving by wearing spring and summer cltohes. The army pooka walks for miles every day. And yes, she can lift brah.. well some. She's good support

The stairs are... challenging. Troll stubborn goes a long way.

More likely, she'll be put on the coach near the fire. "I'll gget you a cookie"

"Is it set straight? I gotta... " Worry. "It can't heal crooked."

"It's not Randy Rainbow" She assures calming her

"I can't. I need to ride, and fight, and... I mean... basketball isn't a need, but..."

The pooka holds up a finger "By the ime I'm donne, you'll be able to EAT off that leg"

And she comes to the kitchen, and returns with a cookie.

The wilder is still scowling. But then... benched.

Cookie put in the girl's hand, Tiffany looks over the leg again, yes, it is straight. She orders "Forward.. munch"
